The house is located on the outskirts of the village of Tsagarada on the eastern slopes of the picturesque Pelion Mountain. It is surrounded by chestnut trees and a blooming garden. The view of the Agean Sea adds to this incredibly relaxing natural environment. The famous village of Tsagarada, with its unique architecture and famous (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) yr old maple tree is only 3 km away and can be reached either by car or by trekking/walking. Well mapped out mountain tracks make this journey a real natural experience (pictures of the route are included). The whole mountain area is spotted by beautiful small villages, such as Kissos, Mouresi, Zagora which are all within 10 to 30 km away. Beside it's natural beauty, the Tsagarada area, offers interesting historical attractions, such as many christian churches dated back to the 12th century. Only a short drive from the house is the Aegean coastal line, where organised beaches such as Mylopotamos, Agios Ioannis, Damouhari, Papa Nero, Plaka beach and Agioi Saranta just to name a few can be found. All 'blue flagged' by the EC as clearest and cleanest. The closest and most famous being Mylopotamos (9km) which offers clear blue waters for swimming, and rocky reefs for snorkeling, diving and spear fishing. Finally most of these beaches, offer a choice of restaurants, tavernas, bars, and thus are ideal to also visit during the evening for a nice dinner or drinks.
