Situated in the picturesque village of Bratton Fleming on the edge of Exmoor and part of The West Country Way cycle route its the perfect place to explore the beautiful North Devon countryside. Franklyn House is reputed to be the oldest house in Bratton Fleming. Situated in the centre of the village its just a short walk to the local shop and church. Our double room is tastefully decorated to a very high standard and has a colour flat screen TV, central heating, vanity corner (with hair dryer) and tea and coffee making facilities. The self contained double en-suite room is part of our family home but has its own private (Website hidden by Airbnb) you can come and go as you please. North Devon & Exmoor offers the perfect Devon holiday setting. Whether you are looking for a weekend break, a romantic getaway Franklyn House is perfectly situated to enjoy it all. Less than 20 minutes to fantastic sandy beaches and hidden coves which will entice you to explore, while dramatic coastlines and the rugged moorlands of Exmoor only 1mile away will take your breath away. Award winning local food and drink will tempt you, plus loads of outdoor activities, events and great days out will keep you entertained from dawn to dusk. Of road parking is available. Regular buses stop just down the road to Franklyn House. We are a cycle friendly house with security and wash down facilities.
