Our self-contained, top floor flat offers you a comfy, private living space within our family home. Accessed through our main entrance hall and home, the flat has its own front door upstairs separating it from the family living area below. This lovely space will give you all you need as a base for your stay in Tunbridge Wells... We think you’re going to love the accommodation during your stay with us! You’ll have a tranquil double bedroom, your own luxury bathroom and a bright and spacious living room/kitchen to relax in, with TV. We can set up a single child’s bed in the bedroom. And there’s a sofa bed in the living room area. If you need it, we can set up an extra single mattress in the living room, too. The kitchen has a washing machine, oven/hob and tea and coffee making facilities. Basic breakfast materials are included as a welcome gift so you can prepare your own breakfast for the first few days of your stay. Bedding and towels are provided. The flat is perfect for a couple or family with up to two children or a group of friends. We look forward to welcoming you! The entire top floor of our large three-storey terraced house is yours to enjoy while you stay. Entry is through our family living area, up two flights of stairs. There you'll have a comfy double bedroom, luxury bathroom with shower and spacious living room/kitchen area. We live as a family in the house and are always ready to help with any queries you might have or to advise about restaurants and locations to visit. Please feel free to come and find us to ask any questions! But we also make ourselves discreet when guests are staying, aiming for a good balance. We do require occasional access to our attic above the flat. We would give guests notice if this is required. We do require occasional use of our clothes dryer which is located in the guest bathroom. We would give notice if this is required. The apartment is perfect for a couple or family with up to two children visiting historic Tunbridge Wells. Five minute drive to many restaurants and cafes in central Tunbridge Wells (walking distance) and five minutes drive in the opposite direction is an out of town retail park which includes shops such as ASDA, Odeon cinema, M&S, Next, TK Maxx and more. The train station is opposite the flat, serving Tunbridge Wells (2 mins), Tonbridge (5 mins), Sevenoaks (20 mins) and London or Hastings (50 mins to an hour). Our property is conveniently situated next to High Brooms station from which trains to London (50 minutes) and Tunbridge Wells (2 minutes) are frequent. A walk into central Tunbridge Wells from our house takes approximately 20 minutes. Taxis into town take 5 minutes and cost approximately £6.00. There is also a frequent bus service into town with the nearest bus stop just 20 yards from our front door. No unregistered overnight guests, only guests that have been booked can stay with us. We do not have parking directly outside the property, but there is plenty of unmetered parking in nearby streets. We are right across from High Brooms train station, where there is also a station car park (payable at station ticket machine). We have two children who are good and quiet at night but during the early evening you may hear them downstairs. We have three friendly cats (Bill, Severin and Kiki) and two miniature dachshund (Otto and Rudi), all of whom we prevent from going into the top floor guest flat. You may hear Otto and Rudi barking occasionally, but we will try to keep that to a minimum and you will be two floors above them!
