"Betsy" is situated on the ground floor with direct access to the large pool and outdoor lounge area. Betsy consists of a large bedroom with two comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with toilet and shower. Vamos is an authentic and historic village, where one can truly experience the real Cretan atmosphere. The square is within strolling distance and has all the needed facilities such as several excellent tavernas, pizzerias, a good bakery and a good butcher. There is often lovely Cretan music at the village square. Also there is a bank, a pharmacy, a medical center and a dentist. Vamos is a picturesque village with stoned pathways and is surrounded by many olive trees. It is an ideal place for hiking and cycling. Also outside the summer season, Vamos is definately worth a visit to experience the true Cretan rural life. Vamos is een authentiek en historisch plaatsje, waar je de echte Kretense sfeer nog volop kunt proeven. Het gezellige centrum is op loopafstand en heeft alle faciliteiten zoals diverse goede tavernas, pizzerias, een goede bakker en een goede slager. Er is vaak Kretense live muziek in de village square. Ook is er is een Apotheek, een Medisch Centrum en een tandarts. Vamos en omgeving zijn een ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelaars, fietsers en natuurliefhebbers. Vamos is ook buiten het zomer seizoen een bezoek meer dan waard om het echte Kreta te proeven. There is a bus connection to Vamos from Chania to Vamos and to the surrounding villages.
