Two 2x 6 metre 4 door bell tents with double beds. The tents has 2 layers for heat protection and light diffusion in the mornings. Electricity and fan in tents. Basic breakfast of tea or coffee and fruit and pastries included, continental/full €5 & €7.50 pp extra. Costs are the same all season. No inflated seasonal prices. No cleaning fees or hidden taxes. The tents are positioned under the olive trees and are very well spaced out and very private. Please understand that the beauty of Casa Tranquilla is the peace and quiet. You can walk into town in 40 minutes or cycle in 15 minutes. It is a country lane with little traffic. (Website hidden by Airbnb) If you are worried about Corona virus, Covid 19 then Glamping is perfect for you. I will be disinfecting the tents between guests. If necessary you can use the outside toilet and shower and you will be in a completely safe zone. Please note that most of August is booked on this tent. My other Bell tent has availability in August. https://abnb.me/YJvOeoSVd8 The property is situated between Oria and Latiano in the centre of Puglia. It is the perfect base to explore. Most places are within an hour drive and the beaches either side are appropriately 30 minutes. The tents are nestled between the olive and fig trees. The property (3 acres) has electric gates and Is fenced off with privacy screening. The land behind is also mine so it is peaceful and not overlooked. I have a mosquito trap that covers up to a 2 kilometre radius. I am hoping that we will have a mosquito free summer. It is very dry here in the summer so it’s not usually an issue. However mosquito bites can take the pleasure away from your well deserved holiday so I wanted to try and make it perfect in any way that I can. There are two 4 door bell tents with protective covers and large awnings at the front. Inside there is a double bed, bed side lamps, hanging rail, hangers and furniture. Full length mirror, fan and of course electricity. The tents are huge, the centre pole is 3 metres high, the four doors give the tent a maximum head space. Most people say wow on entering. The floor is fully covered with soft matting. There is a small settee in each tent. The beds are very comfortable and have high quality Egyptian cotton sheets. At the front of the tent is a large awning. There is a small table and chairs, the awning is lit up with fairy lights. You are free to move the sun beds around if you want some by the tents. There is also a couple of hammocks under the shade of the olive trees, perfect to read of snooze in. The tents each have a private, but open, shower with portable toilet. The main bathroom is shared between the 2 tents. please note that there is not a bidet but the shower is practical in the heat of the summer. The pool isn’t a swimming pool as such. You can only swim in circles. it’s quite good for water aerobics if you want to keep fit. The pool is good for cooling off and you can also lay on the top level and sunbathe or read a book comfortably. There are mesh bottomed lilos for your enjoyment. A solar shower is situated next to the pool and there is a lovely shaded area to eat or lounge. The air here is pure and clear. The stars light the sky at night time and it is easy to see the constellations. Most of my guests say they sleep better here than they have ever done. It is a combination of the fresh oxygenated air and comfortable beds and bedding. Breakfast that is included can be taken at any time. After (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) I will leave out flasks, pre packed pastries and fruit, whatever is in season from my trees. Figs and cactus fruit are normally available. At an additional cost I will provide a continental breakfast €5 per person or full cooked breakfast €7.50. Served up to 10am and 9.3am on check out day. Continental includes basic breakfast plus, toast, jams, chocolate spread, fruit juice, Muesli, yogurt, fruit salad, Mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, balsamic and of course my own olive oil. Coffee, tea or herbal and fruit teas. Full cooked breakfast includes continental plus bacon, eggs, baked beans hash brown and cooked tomatoes. The eggs can be prepared in anyway you want. I am a vegetarian and will do a nice meat free breakfast. Maybe a stuffed omelet or the full breakfast with veggie sausages. I can serve drinks and nibbles at affordable prices. please give me a little notice so I can ensure that I have what you want here. I have 2 bikes for your use and enjoyment. They can be padlocked so you can cycle into town for an evening out. I have had 2 lots of guest who came without transport. One guest returned and the others want to come back soon. It must mean that they were happy with the holiday and location and didn’t feel restricted. There are a few buses a day to the beaches. Campomarino or San Pietro in Bevagna. I think the fare is €5 and it takes Approx 30 minutes from Oria. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescue animals. There are very loving and friendly. They do not beg for food as they are spoilt and not hungry. They will not come to the tents unless invited. One of the dogs may walk with you if you want to explore on foot, the other 2 won’t usually leave me. They have a long walk everyday but Charlie is unfaithful, he loves men and will usually walk with anyone. During the heat of the summer the dogs do little else than sleep. At night time you may hear a few local dogs And in the morning a cockerel but it is more a background noise. I supply eye masks and ear plugs to ensure that you won’t be disturbed. 2 of my own dogs sleep inside. One sleeps in an outhouse and she will only bark when you return or if someone approaches the property. In the summer we have cicadas, the air is alive with the hum until the beginning of August. They are fascinating to watch hatch. There are lizards but nothing else to disturb your peace. I try to get on top of the ants so the tents will be ant free. However be warned ants can smell out any food, even unopened packets and before you know it they will come visiting if you have good in your tent. This is a very laid back location. Very small and personal. I am very approachable so you are always free to ask for help or advice or to give me feedback or criticism. This is your holiday and I will endeavour to do my best to make is a lovely as I can. I had a same sex honeymoon couple here last year. They thought I should mention that I am LGBTQ+ I am totally inclusive and didn’t see the need to mention it. They said that it was (shamefully) the first time during their honeymoon that they could be themselves. They were naturists and as the only guests at the time were free to truly be themselves. They had a beautiful time and wanted others to enjoy a holiday as much as they did. I appreciated their input on how best to present my Glamping so I have declared my accommodation LGBTQ+ friendly. I'm really excited to say that my honeymoon visitors return again this year as friends. I had a little studio flat in the centre of the historic town in Oria. It has a good roof terrace with sun beds, table, chairs, sink and barbecue. If you want to try and combine a couple of nights there it’s possible. Please ask for details. Please note, this is not self catering. There is a bbq and fridge. Plates cutlery and plastic glasses. A few basics but no cooker or stove. I can provide meals and snacks. I am always there for a chat or a glass of wine. I am also sensitive to your needs too and will afford you privacy, peace and space if that’s what you like. I do not spend much time by the pool so you will always have privacy there for much of the day. I can give local information and will always check on events. I am happy to give pre booking advice too or answer questions. I will send you location maps and will be happy to help you organise day trips to maximise your time and pleasure. I hate going away to a beautiful place and then waste time looking for where to go and what to see. I did all the ground work for you, having got lost many a time, sometimes discovering some beautiful little gems along the way that I’m happy to share. I can recommend quiet beaches with easy parking and the best times to visit. Puglia is the undiscovered gem of Italy. I can recommend restaurants and bars, best ice cream parlours etc. If you have a budget and would prefer a good cheap restaurant then I know many. If you want ambience or good cocktails, ice cream, shops, beaches, boat hire or trips etc etc I can also recommend. I’m happy to book restaurants for you. I have a photo album that I can can send to you before you come. Something to whet your appetite before you come and to give you ideas. I enjoy photography. As a couple sometimes it’s difficult to have the photos that you would like to capture your holiday. I am very pleased to take photos for you, I have have plenty of patience to capture your happiness and enjoyment whether it is in the pool or having breakfast etc. I can also take a few candid shots, usually the best ones. If you have a special event I can take photos of you before you go out. Please just ask. Taxis are available locally. I can do a Brindisi airport collection for up to 3 people €30. A taxi costs €60. Cars can be hired locally for €30/35 per day. There are buses to the beach from Oria. The trains are from Oria 5 Kms away. They go to Lecce and Brindisi but have links to most of Italy. I personally think it is such a shame to come to such a beautiful place and not have a car. There is so much to see and do. However I have had 4 guests now without cars, one repeat visitor who did not think it was an issue. You can message me for more info and I can also send you a photo album. Two 2x 6 metre 4 door bell tents with double beds. The tents has 2 layers for heat protection and light diffusion in the mornings. Electricity and fan in tents. Basic breakfast of tea or coffee and pastries included, continental/full €5 & €7.50 pp extra. Extra hour after or before check in/out €10 per tent if prior notice is given. This is the cost of employing someone to be here to enable me to continue with my chores and shopping etc. Costs are the same all season. No inflated seasonal prices. No cleaning fees or hidden taxes. The tents are positioned under the olive trees and are very well spaced out and very private.
