Lovely apartment in 19th century "Villa Maria"

The apartment is located in "Villa Maria" one of the most beautiful ancient villas of Como Lake. The Villa is surrounded by a 4 acres park with a 25 metres swimming pool, a tennis court and a bowling court, all freely available to the guests. The apartment is located at the ground floor and is composed by a living room, separated kitchen, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven. The apartment has a private car park inside the Villa. The Villa is located close to Menaggio and Villa Carlotta and at ten minutes walk from the ferry station from where you can reach Bellagio and Varenna in a short time. In Varenna there is the railway station with connections to Milan and Switzerland. The swimming pool is open from June to September and the tennis court is available from April to October. I have another apartment in the Villa where I stay for long vacation periods, though I live in Milan. In any case you can always contact me whenever you need by phone. Griante is a small village close to Villa Carlotta. Near the Villa there are some restaurants and two small supermarkets at ten minutes walk distance. More shops and restaurants are in Menaggio at 2,5 km distance. The ferry station is at ten minutes walk from the Villa. The railway station is in Varenna. The bus station is at five minutes walk from the Villa and some trekking paths are easy reachable from there. Please note that the Municipality of Griante charges a city tax of 5€ per person per day for the first seven days of stay. No charges for children under 10 and 2,5€ for children between 10 and 12. Such tax shall be paid cash at check-in.
