The Flying Duck

The Flying Duck is a self contained detached annex to our house, on the High Street in Marshfield. There is a private garden with seating area. There is one king size bed and a double sofa bed. The single sofa bed is a single bed size but maybe more suited to a child. We’re trying hard to minimise our impact on the world. The Flying Duck is all-electric and we have 22 solar panels on the roof (saving for more!). 500mm of loft insulation will keep you comfortable! The living space is studio / open plan living with a separate laundry space, leading into the bathroom. There is a lovely big window looking out onto the private garden. Access and entry is non-contact, with its own keypad gate and a keysafe. I will usually be around and available for guests to contact me if at all necessary. The Cotswold village of Marshfield is a great base for walking (3km from the Cotwold way), discovering the Cotwolds or visiting the city of Bath. Marshfield has 2 lovely pubs, a teashop, post office and a few lovely local shops. We recycle as much as we can! Just use the separate recycling box and we’ll do the rest.
