Perfect base/stop over, close to Bristol Airport

Situated in the heart of rural and quiet North Somerset, easy access to some of the best walking, hiking, cycling in the country. Located on a very quiet lane, 15 minutes from Bristol Airport, 30 minutes into the heart of the vibrant Bristol city yet surrounded by a plethora of great pubs and restaurants with outside and inside fine dining or use the cooking facilities in the Piggery. The Piggery is a 2020 converted building on our farm, it is compact and bijou, studio, open-plan layout. It is private and secluded with the most amazingly comfortable, and easily assembled Cocoon sofa- bed, a bunk room accessible via mobile wooden stairs with rural country views. Bifoldable doors open to the beautiful views and stunning sunsets for the summer and a warming wood-burning stove and blankets for the chillier evenings. Light and airy, surrounded by nature it is a totally chilled-out space perfect to unwind and enjoy the countryside for a few days or as a stop-off on the way to your end destination. Our farmhouse is separate from The Piggery but our private gardens surround it, it may be possible for you to use the larger gardens by agreement. There is a patio for BBQ's/coffee/dining etc outside the Piggery. Charlie and I live on-site with our 3 teenage children, Swift and Stan our black labradors, we are available for any questions you may have regarding your stay, either knock on our door or give us a call. We are a busy family and totally respect our quests privacy. You have private access to The Piggery. The place is cleaned to 100% Covid Standards between each stay to ensure your safety. The beautiful farm building has been restored sympathetically with a lovely patio ideal for morning breakfast and coffee or watching the sunset with a chilled beer or wine. There are lovely rural walks from the cottage across woodland, fields, and farmland. Quiet, charming, and peaceful. The local shop is less than 3 minutes drive or a cycle away, we have some old bikes your welcome to borrow, a supermarket, chemist etc only 5 minutes drive in Yatton. Just down the road is The infamous Strawberry Lane 10 miles each way cycle path, no road, Cadbury Hill an ancient iron fort a walk from the cottage, Ashton Court 20 minutes drive. Golf, horse riding, tennis, mountain biking all in close proximity, Yatton train station 5 minutes, bus to Weston Super Mare or Bristol 5 minutes walk and Bristol airport 15 minutes drive. The Piggery is studio style and is perfect for 2 or 4 people for a few nights on your way or way back, just to chill out for a few days or down visiting family, weddings etc in a lovely part of the world. It is not suitable for those with young children as the space is compact and the bed up the ladder would be unsafe for younger children
