House on the waves

Our house is a space for anyone who loves the immediate contact with the sea and the land. It is an opportunity for an alternative touristic experience, as it is literally beside the sea , with only the beach inbetween, such that the visitor feels that he has total privacy there.A vegetable garden and a well are available there, and only a 15 -minute walk will bring you to the scenic, traditional fishing village of Ormou Marathokabou. This house gives the opportunity for the visitor to stay next to the seaside, away and yet near to civilization. To go fishing, get his vegetables directly from the cultivated back garden, to water the tomatoes, peppers, courgettes and aubergines without much effort. Our home is located in an area called Velanidia (declared natura area) near of Ormos village in Marathokampos. Ormos village is a traditional fishing village with a small port for fishing boats and with a recently finished marina for yachts Belanidia is a specially beautiful protected area where it is forbidden to build more houses and shops, so few lucky ones enjoy a beach on their own.
