Le Jasmin - a rural gîte with private outdoor pool

Le Jasmin comprises 2 neighbouring gîtes, an old farmhouse (sleeps 6) and a small converted barn (sleeps 4) with a private outdoor swimming pool open from end of May to beginning of October. The larger gîte is a spacious holiday home with a partially covered courtyard which includes a charcoal barbecue and outside dining area. Adjacent to this is a small utility room which houses the washing machine and dishwasher. The main entrance via the courtyard takes you into the large fully equipped kitchen/dining room, with beamed ceiling. The dining area leads through to a very comfortable beamed sitting-room. The wooden staircase leads from the kitchen to the first floor, which consists of a large double bedroom, a spacious shower-room with washbasin and WC, and a separate bathroom (with shower over) which also has washbasin and WC. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms, a mezzanine-style twin room which has a curtain for privacy, and a low doorway into the second large double. The smaller gîte has a light, airy sitting room, accessed through the French door at the front of the property and is formed in part from the original bread oven. There are two steps leading up to a well equipped kitchen/dining area which includes washing machine, combi-oven/microwave, two-ring gas hob and dish washer. The downstairs shower-room is fitted with a walk-in shower, washbasin and WC. Stairs lead from the spacious hallway up to the two bedrooms - the double, which has a lovely view from its window, and a twin. There is a covered patio which is equipped with a barbecue and shaded dining area. Guests enjoy full access to the pool and garden which is furnished with a selection of furniture and games for your enjoyment. We are happy to adapt to fit in with guests' expectations and requirements but are available to guests should they have any queries. We are situated in a small rural hamlet 7 kilometres from our nearest village, Mirandol Bourgnounac, which provides all the essential amenities including bakers, butchers, pharmacy, bar, restaurant, bank, grocery, garage and EV charge point. We are surrounded by a number of marked footpaths and cycle routes, have the beautiful river Viaur at the bottom of the hill below us, and for those interested, an amazingly dark sky making star-gazing an absolute delight. There is no public transport to or from the village, so your own transport is essential. We live on site in an old converted farmhouse with our dog Mossy and retain a small section of the garden for our own use. Mossy generally is not in the garden unaccompanied.
