Charming Limousin Cottage

In the beautiful Limousin countryside you will find at the end of a dead end road our house with the separate cottage. The cottage is a typical French stone house with modern comfort. The thick stone walls keep it cool inside and outside on the terrace you can enjoy the beautiful views, the peace and the sun. On site is also a swimming pond and plenty of space to play for children. You will have a cozy living room of 40 m2 with open kitchen. The living room is furnished with a dining area, rocking chair and a sofa bed. There is direct access to a private terrace with views of the surrounding meadows. The masterbedroom has a double bed. The other bedroom has a bunkbed. The modern bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The cottage has a private terrace with views over the surrounding rolling countryside. There is room enough for the children to play. The swimming pond is used for swimming and playing around, sun chairs to really relax, read and enjoy the sun. We know the area well and will be pleased to help you to make nice trips in the area. You will find here plenty of space, quietness, even complete silence. At night there are deep darkness brilliant starry skies. From the cottage you can walk directly over old cart track trails and cycling along winding country roads. Whatever you do, everywhere you can enjoy rolling green pastures where the famous red-brown Limousin cows grazing. The Limousin is well known for the good meat of the Limousin cows and its porcelain. In the cottage you will find a brochure with restaurants, markets and local festivals, or addresses to buy directly from the farmer. There are a number of cycling and hiking routes that you can start from the cottage. Bakery and small grocery shop at a few minutes drive from the gite. Big supermarket at 10 minutes drive in Châteauneuf la Forêt wher they also have a nice swimming lake.
