A unique sand stone barn, part of which is allegedly recorded in the Domesday Book. With plenty of natural light and stunning views from every single window. Well equipped, furnished and finished to an exceptionally high standard. This property will comfortably sleep a maximum of four people. Two upstairs' bedrooms: one super king size and the other, two single beds (which can be converted to one double bed) in a separate room on a mezzanine floor over looking the large living room. An upstairs' bathroom, with a large 6 foot bath and a powerful thermostatic shower over, sink and wc, underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. The stairs and landing are carpeted, the bedrooms have exposed wooden floor boards and the bathroom is tiled. Downstairs there is a large fitted kitchen with a dining area. The kitchen table seats four. The kitchen is fully kitted out with a fridge, freezer, Dualit kettle and Dualit four slice toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and electric single oven with ceramic hob. The kitchen floor is tiled and has underfloor heating. There is a large hall way, with a useful storage space under the stairs. There is a downstairs' wc that also has a combined washer / dryer. The living room is vast. It has a large leather sofa, a log burner (with a free supply of logs), a dining table which seats six, a Smart TV with surround sound and Sonos. The Barn benefits from a powerful wifi and 4G is generally available. There is ample parking. Although the Barn is easily accessible for York, Leeds, Hull, Beverley, Bishop Burton College, it benefits from a private off road rural location. Please be aware that we do have outside cats, a dog and horses in the vicinity of the Barn. The entire Barn is included and also access to the paddock to the side of the barn and the garden in front of the Barn. I will be contactable by telephone and email, but not necessarily on site. The Barn is in a rural location, with beautiful and uninterrupted views of a chalk stream and the Yorkshire countryside. It is very tranquil and yet easily accessible. Ample and unlimited private parking is available at the Barn. We are within 15 minutes of Brough train station. The Barn, garden and paddock provide a wonderful opportunity for guests to see over 30 different varieties of bird life. This is a paradise for budding ornithologists. We are lucky enough to provide a home to kingfishers, herons, egrets, barn owls, little owls, tawny owls, wood peckers and red kites, to name but a few. There is a chalk trout stream (Mill Beck) that meanders through the garden and along the paddock.
