The Hasta La Vista river cruiser is the perfect choice for a fun filled relaxing time travelling along the mighty Murray River all the year around. It is located at the Mannum Waters Marina on Pelican Drive, Port Mannum. Mannum town is about 3 kilometre distance by road or river. It is the gateway to other upper river locations, it is a vibrant and social community. It is a tourist destination with many shops to browse, annual festivals, car shows, Sounds by the River concert and on water activities abound. The Hasta La Vista is an unique mid size all steel construction mono hull river cruiser, open plan, bright, airy and easy to manage for all adult operators. It is not 5 star but is very cosy, comfortable with full facilities for off the grid river travel for extended periods. It is comfortably suited for couples or small families with children (must be supervised at all times particularly during mooring procedures) for up to 5 guests to get away and enjoy the on water experience. It is available for a minimum of 2 nights hire, however you have to book quick as it is proving to be a popular premier small hire vessel. The Hasta La Vista is a shared and open living space which incorporates the sleeping and kitchenette areas. Bedding arrangements are 1 double permanent bed, 1 double bed fold down combined with the dining table, 1 smaller single bed for smaller guests plus a front day sitter. It is a shared living space there are no separate rooms. It is similar in size to that of a large RV except its on water. The Hasta has all the facilities required, bathroom and toilet amenities, cooking appliances, music and Smart TV/DVD on board. The kitchenette has all the utensils and cooking aids to cook up a feast aboard - the oven is ideal for cooking a family roast. We also have a stovetop ground coffee maker - just bring your own favourite ground coffee. We supply basic items such as sauces, tea and instant coffee, complimentary milk and all necessities to live aboard. There is a generous new hard rear deck canopy with side shades, gas BBQ, outdoor gas heater, cool drink chest (ice required), 12 volt powered 45 litre fridge, mood lighting and back up 3 KVA generator to charge items or inflate water toys. 240 volt power is on hand via the generator to power the internal split system heat and cool unit, toaster or other 240 powered items. Be aware that the generator will need to be used to maintain sufficient power when there is periods of no sun. There are canoes with all the safety gear for your use. Latest model Honda 75hp EFI 4 stroke engine effortlessly pushes the Hasta along at a cruise speed of about 9 km/h with good fuel economy. We have added a carpeted rear swim deck with swim ladder for ease of water access. You are also welcome to bring your own ski boat, tinny or jet ski as there are mooring buffers either side to tie up and tow alongside. Alternatively you can hire the tow behind inflatable docking mat to tow your water craft behind in your travels - a hire fee of $100 applies . Your own personal property must be insured and operated at your own risk by licensed and competent drivers and operated with care as per AMSA rules. All you need is to be 21 years of age, hold a boat licence or full unrestricted car licence, be assessed under tuition as being competent and capable to operate the vessel within the AMSA rules. The mandatory safety and operational tuition takes about an hour. Guests who carry out the deckhand duties must be able to physically carry out the mooring duties for the driver. You must be capable of physically getting on and off the vessel to manually handle the mooring ropes. Any special needs are to be disclosed on boarding the vessel. Safety comes first. The Hasta is available all year round as a self drive vessel or as static moored accommodation on a picturesque section of the river. Self drive allows you to travel each day to a new destination and take in all the wonders and beauty of the Murray River along the way. Self drive incurs a fuel charge depending on the distance travelled and fuel used. The Hasta uses about 1 litre of fuel per kilometre. It is calculated at the current Mannum Marina fuel bowser cost and invoiced after the hire period and boat inspection on return. Fuel use is not included in the hire fee and is an industry accepted practice. Moored accommodation is a popular choice for those that don't wish to drive anywhere but merely relax and enjoy the river ambience. It takes away the physical handling of the vessel and the stress of driving. In the cooler months we can moor the boat at a nice river front area, with camp fire and access to your transport. All you have to do is sit back with a drink and nibbles. The Hasta La Vista crew practice and ensure a safe environment. We ask all guests to do same and assist us in ensuring cleanliness at all times. We supply hand wash and wipes and encourage use particularly prior to food handling. Bed linen and towels are supplied for 3 guests, freshly cleaned after each hire period. Extra bed linen and towels can be supplied for more guests at an extra cost or alternatively you can bring your own. A cleaning fee does apply (refer to extra fees applicable). If the vessel is returned in poor untidy condition or any damage goes unreported it may affect the security bond refund. The Hasta La Vista is a non smoking vessel due to its compact size, we have a no pet policy due to having to cater for everyone's personal health requirements. The Hasta crew also follow Government guidelines as to public health and safety.
