Bassets Acre, Circa 1827, Built by Lord De Dunstanville Basset, A beautiful villa steeped in local history, carefully and sympathetically restored to provide just six high quality apartments which share all of the facilities for residents only. Portreath is a very historic village due to the harbour connection with mining which is now just used by the fishermen, it is a very friendly non comercial village with a strong community and lots going on for locals and visitors alike. There is a good bus service in the village and the main line station is in Reduth. We are 10 minutes by car from ~ Tesco ~ Morrison ~ Liddel ~ Aldi and lots of independant farm shops. We are very lucky living in Cornwall as the virus has had very little impact on the county and Portreath has had no instances of the virus at all, we have been able to go to the beach and enjoy the beautiful walks, The government has told us we can officially start letting from the 1st of July Hooooooray. !!! The supermarkets are open and the restaurants have been doing a marvellous delivery service the choice has been amazing so we don't feel that we have missed out on anything, Bassets acre, has just six beautiful apartments that share the Swimming pool, Hot tub, Games room and Garden, We have taken Health and safety advice from the government to ensure all of our facilities are safe to use, For lots of information about, Bassets acre, please visit our website, In the main season, July August bookings are Saturday to Saturday only and prices are still at last year's tariff.
