Sunny Villa Apartment in the Central City
My place is a sunny, charming bijou apartment in an 1880's villa just 10 min walk to the historical cathedral with cafés, alfresco dining & famous Nelson Saturday market close by. I'm also near the Maitai river with cycle-paths, walks, swimming & picnics. I have a little private outdoor garden area with table & chairs, BBQ Grill, fresh herbs, grapes & feijoas. My place sleeps 2 in comfort, the bathroom is en suite. If you are 3, there is also a fold-out chair bed and extra bedding. Enjoy! My space is light and sunny, there is a dining alcove, roomy living area with mid century Danish sideboard and cosy bedroom with wardrobe space. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. There are chairs and table outside in my private garden area so you can relax in the sun, read a book and drink some chai... You can cook on BBQ & drink some local craft beer in the evenings... I also have a smart TV with Netflix if you feel like chilling on the sofa... There is unlimited free wifi, washer & dryer combo machine and also a clothesline around the back of the house. My place is only one bedroom and not really suitable for bigger families, but I do have a high chair if you have a little one in tow. Guests staying 7 days + get discount and a little welcome basket :) If you cannot see availability for your dates - check out my other brand new listing in heart of Nelson City: https://airbnb.com/h/artists-studio-workshop-central-city You will have my whole place to yourselves. You have your own keys plus a spare set. I also provide a keysafe box so you can check in & out at your own leisure. You will be able to contact me if you need anything - i'm happy to help. There is a little dairy across the street for groceries too, open till 7pm in the summertime. Im nearby and easily contactable - happy to help just message me! It's close to town, in a quiet leafy suburb very near the polytechnic and historic cathedral. There is great fish and chip shop on Alton st and gorgeous walks and biking tracks nearby. Lots of free parking on the street! Walking to town is easy follow Brook St down past the dairy to where it soon turns into Tasman street. Keep going along Tasman until you reach Hardy St. Turn left and Hardy St leads to the Center of town and takes you past the Queens Gardens. If you want to go to the Cathedral, turn left off Tasman St into Nile St. This street leads to the Cathedral and all the bars and restaurants at the very top of the City. Feel free to water my garden if it's looking dry :)
