Central, parking, sauna, v close to beach

13-19 April 2022, min stay 3 nights! Family home with 3 person sauna cabin, trampoline 10 min walk from seafront, 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes bus ride away from Brighton center ,5 minutes walk from Portslade station, cool open air kitchen- diner with big table and glass door to a South facing leafy garden, great for chilling, sunbathing, brunching alfresco. Parking on driveway for 2 cars, 3rd car parking can be arranged/2.50/ day. Taxi: £10 to centre The house is in a residential area, no house parties allowed. Perfect location for families and big groups. We have a safe, secluded South facing garden with a big round table, chairs; We are 15 min bus ride away into town and not right in the centre, meaning we can provide 2 parking spaces for cars. A taxi into town costs around £10. Please do not score us low on location when you review your stay as you know where our house is on booking :) Free Parking on our drive: As you may possibly know parking In Brighton is a bit of a nightmare. Traffic wardens patrol like hawks and issue tickets readily. The cost of 24hr parking for 1 car in the centre of town in an NCP car park is £54.90; for 48hrs it goes up to £82.35. We are lucky enough to have a drive and can offer you free parking for 2 cars :) and a 3rd car can park for £2.50 on the street. Please ask if you would like to know a weekly charge at any point that the house is available. There are 4 bedrooms, ideal for 10 people but the house can sleep up to 12 people, 2 on comfi sofas /£15 for person /night extra if on sofa/ .The ground floor bedroom has a separate entrance and bathroom, it is a bit like an annex, perfect for granny/aupair. Bedroom 1 - king Bedroom 2 - large double (ground floor, bathroom opposite the room) Bedroom 3 - 2 doubles, sleeps 4, beds against walls so can get out of bed only on one side, see pictures Bedroom 4 - 2 singles Sitting room - L shaped sofa (comfortable for 2 persons) Check in is from 2pm and checkout at 10 am. Do ask, as we may be able to be flexible with these times. All bed linen and hand towels in the bathrooms are provided, BUT please note: we do not provide bath towels for our guests. There are 2 bathrooms with 2 showers , upstairs bathroom has also a bathtub. There is an extra separate toilet at the entrance. So 3 toilets in total. There is an open air kitchen-diner with a large table that seats 8 all of the time and additional chairs can be added if required. Adjacent to here is the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The living room has a big L shaped sofa and a fireplace. Guests can have excess to the whole house and the 3 person, full spectrum infrared sauna, which combined with morning running and / or sea-dip could even qualify as a wellness retreat. There is a nice , big, garden- pub at the doorstep /Garden pub, Hove/ , shops, restaurants, cafes at a few minutes walk. It takes a 10 minutes stroll to get to the seafront or to Hove Lagoon with water-sports activities. Playgrounds 5 minute walk. Portslade station is 5 minutes walk, Hove station is close by, buses 2, 49, 46, 6 stop 1 minute away and take 15-20 minutes to town. Taxi is around £10 and 7-10 minutes to the centre/ Brighton station. The seafront is 10 minutes walk. Our family lives in this house for the majority of time so you will feel like staying at a friend's house while they are away, rather than renting a holiday home. You step into our natural, clean, welcoming habitat and we hope you will enjoy it and respect it. Despite the size of our house and the fact that you can sleep 12 people, this is not a party house as such, it is our home. We welcome groups that wish to celebrate occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and other events in a responsible and respectful manner. Important - Strictly no-smoking in the house. The house is in a residential road, (although please be aware that it is a fairly busy road) so please respect our neighbours. The playing of music in the garden (or music that can be heard in the garden) is prohibited after 10pm. If we receive any complaints from neighbours, council or the police about noise or other unreasonable behaviour guests may be asked to leave the property immediately without any refund . Any extra cleaning as a result of alcohol induced illness may incur an additional minimum £100 fee. We do not accommodate groups under 25 years of age.
