Especially, this house is a bit secret guesthouse for foreigner in Gangneung. Aark House is Located in the city center, convenient Gangneung Tourism. Gangneung Terminal, Ohjukheon, Gangneung Station, Downtown, Gyeongpo/Anmok beach can be moved within 15-30 minutes by local bus. There is a river near here my house called “Namdaecheon" which is connected to the sea. If you follow the river for an hour and you'll get to the Anmok sea. In the small alleys blend with neighboring buildings with 80's style can feel deeply into the culture here, decorated with various paintings and other handmade works with cozy and unique accommodation. AarkHouse own special breakfast will be provided, and a warm smile and heart of a host, such as a mom will make your trip to Gangneung more good memories. :D Your bed is in the 6-mixed bed room at 2nd floor. The atmosphere is cozy, homly, comportable and neat even not so large space. The bath&shower room is in each floor. All space are shared with other guest. A lot of guest visited agian, even this hostel opened last year. You are always welcome to my house. [Room] Blanket, pillow with clean cover. Private lockers, shelves, lamp, curtain and plug. (summer : fan, winter : electric pad) [Kitchen&Lounge] Hotwater, coffee&tea, various dish&cooking utensil, microwave, refrigerator, gas stove. [Bath&Shower room] Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, toothpaste, hotwater, toilet paper. [etc.] Hairdryer, Map of tour, wi-fi, beakfast, parking. We live downstairs and should be able to greet you. I will available by phone and email prior to and for duration of your stay. AarkHouse own special breakfast will be served 8A.M. to 9A.M. on the first floor. I'd like to give to you a delicious breakfast. I will be happy to help with any recommendations for the area and our favorite places in Gangreung. ^.^ Gangneung is the largest city in Yeongdong area, a representative region on the east coast of Korea. With Taebaek Mountains on its west and the East Sea on the opposite, Gangneung provides the visitors beatiful sceneries in all four seasons. Gangneung is one of the gorgeous sightseeing places in Korea with its long-standing historical tastes, traditional culture and pristine nature: the legendary nighty-nine curves of Daegwallyeong Pass; Sogeumgang Valley, the first national Scenic Site in Korea; Ojukheon, the monumental site of Sinsaimdang and Yulgok Lee yi, the mother and son who appeared on the Korean bill; Gyeongpodae Pavillion, one of the eight scenic spots of Gwandong area; Gyeongpo Beach, the greatest destination for vacation; Jeongdongjin Station on the Guinness Book for its being the closest station to the ocean in the world; and Gangneung Dano Festival, which is designated as Unesco Intangible Cultural Heritage.
