Views of nature out of every window, this comfortable, clean and thoughtfully appointed home provides a warm and homey hideaway during your Olympic Peninsula adventures. Enjoy the radiant heat of the pellet stove while you watch your favorite movie. Prepare your meals in the kitchen, and serve your friends a glass of beer or wine at the bar. Spaces in the home offer comfy seating and a quiet place to thumb through books on the many wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. One and 3/4 baths, three private bedrooms, along with a sunken study that doubles as a fourth bedroom. The option to add an Aero-Bed is available for larger parties. Covered front and back porches along with attached sun deck with great views of Wynoochee Valley. You have the full run of the house, the attached porches, covered car port attached to the house, as well as pull-through covered boat/truck parking and trails that wind through 18-acres of wild Wynoochee woodlands. You will have total privacy and be left to enjoy yourself. In all likelihood, you will never see us, but we do live nearby on the ridge and we're glad to make recommendations about fun things to do in the area and assist with anything that may help make your stay more enjoyable. Located 4 minutes from Black Creek Boat Launch on the Wynoochee so you'll be first in the water at dawn. Also within 25 minutes of Satsop and Chehalis River boat launches. 40 minutes from Lake Quinault, 40 minutes to Wynoochee Lake, 45 minutes from ocean beaches (Westport or Ocean Shores), 15 minutes to downtown Montesano and Lake Sylvia. Got the kids and don't want to untangle lines? - Float the Wynoochee on a raft or inner tube! Located 2 minutes from put-in for float to Wynoochee Wildwood... or keep floating to the Black Creek Boat Launch. Paved private driveway takes you through tall trees, limbed high so nothing will touch your boat. Pull onto the lawn to access the pull-through boat and truck covered-parking, or pull right up to the house and park in the attached carport. Plenty of parking. We are happy to accommodate larger groups for a small fee per person. No parties, please.
