An unusual and artistic space with 2 bedrooms each with a luxury kingsize bed. Bedroom upstairs is a large, open-plan, very spacious mezzanine area with raked timber ceiling, AC and ceiling fans and four-poster bed with King Coil mattress, and the downstairs bedroom is lockable and cosy with timber ceiling, AC and ceiling fans , and the KS mattress is a superb Tempur memory foam. In the rear mezzanine area at the rear of the house, is a super-comfy QS sofa bed (also with superior memory foam mattress), which can accommodate two more guests in the rear mezzanine living room with ease. This stunning two-storey loft home is designed by acclaimed architect Brian Klopper, featuring Italian marmorino walls, vintage recycled bricks, exposed iron-work, lots of timber, travertine floors in living areas and bathrooms, stained glass windows, all surrounded by greenery in a quiet, leafy street. Brilliantly located! It's an easy walk to a friendly, village-style shopping centre and strip with all of the flowing services: - IGA supermarket - late night pharmacy, optician, medical laboratory suite - post office - hairdresser - ladies' boutiques x 2 - florist - beautician - 4 really lovely cafes, including 2 bakeries - award-winning pizzeria (Tues and Wed are discount nights!) - Turkish take-away café - Kiri Japanese restaurant - La Petit Mort modern fine dining - Galileo's Italian fine dining and you'll also find an antiques shop, medical practice and more. Public transport is also a short walk away for rail and buses. The magnificent King's Park, the University of Western Australia and the QEII Medical Centre are all within easy (ten minutes) walking distance - saving you considerable parking fees if your business is there. The CBD is an 10-minute drive and easily accessed by public transport. Our kitchen is well-equipped inc. dishwasher, slow cooker, blender, cake mixer, juicer, and all baking requirements. The refrigerator is often filled with non-perishable items from recent guests, which you are most welcome to use. Coffee pods and tea are provided. The wifi is free and the password is provided once you complete your booking. You have an off-road driveway in which to safely park your car. The house is fitted with a front door screen and lockable windows. It is fully airconditioned, with free-standing fans also available, and an electric oil heater for cooler times. A folder full of brochures pertaining to travel in Western Australia is located in the kitchen, along with a number of menus from nearby restaurants and takeaway outlets which come highly recommended. And finally, our housekeeper is available to call if you have any problems. and I am usually available through Whats App for personal contact I hope you really have a fabulous time in Perth ! Key access is 24/7. CHECK-IN TIME is after 2 pm and CHECK-OUT time is STRICTLY by 10 am. Sorry, late checkouts will be charged for as the housekeeper will be there to clean shortly after 10.00 am on the day you leave. The minimum tenancy period is 3 days, but if you only want to stay 2 days, then there will be a surcharge of $35. The entire house is accessible and well-equipped, with two large bedrooms with soft-top and orthopaedic latex king size beds, two marbled bathrooms with excellent shower flow, and one with claw-footed bathtub. A very comfortable QS sofa bed is located on the mezzanine above the downstairs living area. It will be set up for you if you re a party of more than 4 guests. Two living area , with TVs, sofas and really comfortable chairs with convenient reading lighting. The laundry has a washer/dryer, the fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, juicer, mixer and blender, plus the usual toaster etc. and all cooking/ baking requirements. There are two dining areas inside, including the beautiful indoor/outdoor atrium, plus the rear back courtyard with sofas, and tables, and a Webber Baby Q gas BBQ. There is driveway parking on the property for one vehicle. Only the small study and dressing room are for the owners' private use (storage). The owner will be away. Keys are readily available 24/7 from a key safe and you will have contact numbers for the caretaker nearby. Very occasionally, if there has been an immediate guest turn around and you require early access, you may meet the Housekeeper who is still completing the preparation for your stay. Brilliantly located, Shenton Park is one of Perth's older suburbs, with quiet, leafy, tree-lined streets close to all amenities, cafes, shops, public transport and many lovely parklands all within easy walking distance of the house. Located close to Perth's major teaching hospital (QEII), and the University of Western Australia with its lovely grounds, open to the public, and an outdoor international film festival in the summer months: (URL HIDDEN) with catering and picnicking facilities in the pine grove auditorium. King's Park, with its botanic gardens, restaurants, playgrounds, bush walk trails, and state memorials is a major tourist attraction and a delightful place to walk to (15 minutes walk to the park, with the Zamia Café an excellent café just inside the park), and from here you can even walk directly into the city of Perth. King's Park also hosts an outdoor cinema near the Zamia cafe in the summer months. The local shopping centre has all amenities, including ATM, and is just 8 minutes walk away. Perth's beautiful beaches , City and Floreat re just 15 minutes' drive, and further along are Leighton, Scarborough (for surfing) and the Whitfords Beach Marina. Public transport is easily accessible. TRAIN station (Shenon Park) is a ten minute walk away. It runs to Fremantle and Perth, both very close. BUS is available at stops only a 5 minute walk away on ONSLOW ROAD. THE CBD is a ten minute drive from the house. KINGS PARK is a 15 minute WALK from the house, and from there you can even walk into the city. THE BEACH is a 15 minute drive to CITY BEACH and FLOREAT BEACH SHENTON PARK LAKE is a 5 minute walk away from the house
