Brecon town. 6 Bridge st. Guest suite for 6.
We're located within minutes walk from the centre of Brecon in the heart of the Beacons and offer two double and one twin bedrooms, all ensuite with guest kitchen and sitting room. It's an old house with lots of character but is not well suited to those with limited mobility (Please ask if you have concerns) We have parking for three cars and secure storage for bicycles. The accommodation is within our house with separate entrance. The house dates from the 16th century (probably earlier) with additions and alterations over the years. It retains much of its character and charm and is a lovely place to live in. Our guests have private access to a kitchen and sitting room on the ground floor with three bedrooms above. Whilst we live in the house we have separate access and accommodation to the rear. There is off road parking for three cars in front of the house and additional secure parking at the rear. We can also offer secure bicycle storage. I live in the house with my wife and am usually around but do not intrude. Brecon is a small town right in the heart of the Brecon Beacons and offers beautiful scenery, wonderful walking and cycling, rivers, streams and waterfalls, a scenic canal and quiet country lanes. The town itself offers a good variety of pubs, restaurants and shops together with a lively music and theatre scene. Brecon is a small town of around 7000 people. All the amenities of the town are within easy walking distance of the house. There are regular bus services to and from the town. The nearest railway station is at Abergavenny some 20 miles away. The surrounding hills and lanes are ideal walking and cycling country and the Brecon to Monmouth canal includes walking and cycling along the towpath.
