You can stay in any (Website hidden by Airbnb) why not relax and play at the lake! Take a break at the Serenity Suite at OakBridge surrounded by stately oaks and a tranquil 70-acre lake. Kick back in the hammock. Enjoy fishing, lake activities, or the fire pit. Have lunch at the picnic table. Wake up to birdsong. Sit in the tree swing while meditating on the year-round flora and fauna. Our space is suitable for individuals & couples retreat, honeymooning, visiting family/friends or just passing through. Serenity Suite is a guest-house type suite. Come and go through your own private entrance with keypad lock. The outside area around the guest house is for your private use, sit near the lake or under the porch with the fans going. Additional shared outdoor amenities include a picnic table, access to a gas grill and firepit. Just a few miles away is Hagan-Stone Park, a 409-acre wildlife refuge with several nature trails and ADA playgrounds. Inside Serenity Suite, the four-room suite includes a kitchen area, full bath, den and bedroom. The private bedroom features a queen-size bed with closet and dresser. The window AC unit is located in the bedroom and requires all the doors between the other rooms to be open in order to cool the entire space. Located beside the bedroom, the cozy den has a full-size sleeper sofa, Roku television with Netflix, Hulu, and Peacock for live TV streaming, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchenette includes a microwave, full-size refrigerator, Keurig coffeemaker with select coffees (including decaf), and a hot pot for various teas. There is kitchenware for 4 and a dining table suitable for meals and workspace. The full-size bathroom has a shower/tub and ample toiletries for your use. Just for clarity, the suite is attached to the main house via a breezeway and extra-large garage. There is a shared wall between the bedroom of the suite and the breezeway (where our outside cat, Honey, lives) which also has a door to the garage. You may occasionally hear Honey going through the cat door or hear us talking and feeding her. We also use the breezeway to access the side yard from the garage to take out trash, etc. There are no shared walls between the main house and Serenity Suite. For an additional fee and with advance notice, the services of a licensed massage therapists (office visits between $100/60 minutes or on-site visits here $160/ 90 minutes), certified life coach ($175/90 minutes), or polarity therapist ($150/90 mins) can be arranged to complete your retreat experience. Your AirBnB hosts live in the main house (attached to Serenity Suite via enclosed breezeway and (Website hidden by Airbnb) you will never hear us!) And you will see them working in the yard, dining on the patio, or just enjoying the lake. Questions can be readily addressed in person or by text messaging. Serenity Suite at OakBridge is located on a private 70-acre lake in Lynwood Lakes neighborhood. The neighborhood is completely safe for walking and cycling. Nearby is Hagan-Stone Park, a 409-acre wildlife refuge with several nature trails and ADA playgrounds, as well as convenient shopping and restaurants. A mile away, Isabella's has the best pizza and calzones around. Our local Food Lion boasts a large selection of organic foods. There are additional fastfood restaurants and a drive-thru Starbucks about 4 miles away. Even though we love children, Serenity Suite is not suitable for children under the age of 12. Guest MUST get permission for any children; especially the messy ones. An additional $25 cleaning fee may be applied. Host reserved the right to cancel a reservation after arrival if this policy is not followed.
