Old Trinity Church
Please note we accommodate primarily family and as such maximum 6 adults. Old Trinity Church is a 19th Century village church lovingly converted by us in 2005. It retains many original features such with the addition of modern home comforts. The large stained glass windows cast a warm friendly light over the house during sunrise encouraging you to enjoy the magical surroundings. As you enter the house and walk down the stone aisle, you have a downstairs shower room on your right and a twin bedroom on your left. In front of you is a spiral staircase. As you approach the stairs, the open plan living space is revealed. Retaining many original features such as pews, pulpit and stained glass it has a special feel about it. The large dining table seats 12 and the games area with table football will keep the children occupied. The whole house is heated by underfloor heating and we also have two log burning stoves to add to that homely feel. The kitchen is modern featuring granite work tops, ceramic hob, electric fan oven, microwave and dishwasher. Upstairs there is a bathroom and two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. The mezzanine floor has a small seating area at one end, ideal for a quiet coffee overlooking the church features. At the other end is another sitting area that hosts the sofa bed for the 7th and 8th guests. The whole house is yours during the stay. The garden has a large lawn with picnic table and BBQ for you to use. There is also a paddock area leading up to the woods behind the house which is ideal for dogs to explore. We live abroad but have local help in case of house emergencies. You will be given a code for the key safe in the porch to gain access for your stay so you would not expect to see anyone during your stay. Old Trinity Church is a 5 min drive from the historic market town of Monmouth. Here you will find all your shopping needs. If you want to treat yourself, the village boasts its very own Michelin Starred restaurant, The Crown at Whitebrook.
