Charming and spacious bed & breakfast accommodation above our wonderful country Inn, serving delicious, locally sourced food and drink. The Monument suite - so called for it's view of the Duke of Wellington's famous Monument, offers a light and comfortable lounge area with a kitchenette as well as a large double bedroom boasting a beautiful hand-carved antique French bed and bathroom with a bath, overhead shower and WC. The lounge is equipped with a double sofa bed making it ideal for families too. The Martlet Inn is a proper country inn set in beautiful rural Somerset. Our dedicated team of staff will look after guests from check-in to the point of departure. We serve up a hearty farmhouse breakfasts, accompanied by lighter options, of a morning and have wonderful lunchtime and evening meals to enjoy. We spent a lot of time during lockdown to re-invent the upstairs of the pub as spacious airy letting suites and we aim to offer you a warm welcome as well as a relaxing stay. We are 5 minutes from the M5 motorway and the National Cycle Route 3 runs straight past our front door! The stunning Blackdown Hills and Quantocks offer superb walking and biking trails and both the North and South coasts are easily accessible for day trips. For those looking for some more urban days out we are perfectly placed to visit either Bristol or the Cathedral city of Exeter.
