You will stay in a renovated, well-equipped apartment for four people. From this place, you can access many "pearls" of Slovenia: Bled city (10 min drive by car) and Vindgar gorge (5 min drive by car). We are happy to share our well-proved insider tips with our guests so you can make the best of your vacation. Now, let me take you on a virtual tour of the apartment: The apartment is pleasant, spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, with old elements preserved and decorations handmade by the hostess. It is located in a nice and quiet place. The parking space is at the house. * BEDROOM: The bedroom has it all - cozy double bed (180 x 200 cm) with fresh linens ensures you a good night`s sleep after a long day of exploring Triglav National Park. Kids will love a bunk bed for cozy sleepovers. Let them bring their favorite toy! You can put your belongings in the big closet or simply set them on the luggage holder. Need extra pillows and blankets? No problem! Blackout blinds on the windows are an ideal choice, so you can sleep in without waking up by daylight. * BATHROOM: The bathroom is meticulously clean, well lit and equipped with everything you might need: a toilet, a shower, a big mirror and a basin where you can freshen up in the morning, a hairdryer, complimentary shampoo/shower gel, fluffy white towels and toilet paper. * KITCHEN: There is everything a good chef needs to prepare excellent meals: an electric stove with an electric oven, an electric water heater, a Caffissimo coffee maker, plenty of plates, glasses, coffee and teacups, dishes and cutlery. * KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM: are in the same room. There is a table for four, which can easily make into a table for 6, an empty cupboard to put dry food in. * GARDEN: There is a wooden table with two benches to sit or dine outside in the shade. Since there are four apartments in our apartment house, this table is offered to all of the guests. A guest-ready and private apartment is yours entirely, and you have access to all amenities in it. The apartment is located on the second floor of a recently renovated house. There is a bright stairway to access the apartment. You also have access to: ￫ Free parking place in front of the house. ￫ Free wi-fi ￫ Free TV in the living room ￫ Washing and drying machine (shared with other guests, located out of the apartment) We live in the house next door, and we are available to our guests any time if they need anything. * Forgot something? No problem. We are here for you. * Would like to know where to dine? Feel free to ask. We will gladly offer you some suggestions. The village Spodnje Laze accounts 20 houses. There are a few farmers nearby and you can see cows and horses out in the pastures in the summer time. The road is narrow and people are friendly. FOOD * The nearest grocery store (Mercator) is 2 km away - 20 minutes walking and 2 minutes driving by car. * Restaurants: Pizzeria Betlehem 5 min by car (great varieties of pizza and grill), Restaurant Fortuna 5 min by car (basic menu and some local specialties), Restaurant Pri Jagru 10 min by car (basic menu, breakfast, local specialties, game). You can also order pizza delivery from pizzeria Rustika in Bled (the number to call is in the apt). NEARBY ATTRACTIONS * Vintgar gorge - 5 min by car * Bled castle - 10 min by car * Bled lake - 10 min by car * Radovna river - a nice 20 min walk from the apt If you and your family are coming with a car, there is plenty of parking space available for you in front of the house. Spodnje Laze are 40 km away from the airport and transportation to Spodnje Laze is possible fairly easy (taxi or car rental). * COMMING WITH TRAIN: The nearest trains stations are either Bled, Lesce-Bled, or Jesenice. From there, you need to take a bus (nearest bus station to the Apt is Krnica - 15 min walk) or a taxi. * TAKE A BUS: Local buses are available from direction Bled or Jesenice (nearest bus station to the Apt is Krnica - 15 min walk) *HOW TO GO AROUND LAKE BLED? You can go on a carriage ride aroud the lake or take the tourist train or rent an (electric) bicycle. The path that leads around the Bled lake is 6 km long and is suitable for easy recreation, like walk or calm cycling. * HOW TO GET TO BLED ISLAND? Do not miss the boat trip to the island with the traditional "pletna" or rent a boat and row there. If you are a good swimmer - you can swim there as well. The nearest distance is from Zaka. All guests must provide ID for registration pusposes with the local authorities. That is a demand under Slovenian law and applicable to all rental properties. Tourist tax is already included in the price that you pay before your arrival. Otherwise it is 2,50 euro/person/night (18+ y) 1.25 euro/person/night (7 - 8 y) The fee is not charged for children under the age of 7. Do you have additional questions? Feel free to ask me anything.
