We don't have designated pitches and guests are welcome to select their own location in the big field. This is a new venture for us (we already have a highly acclaimed airbnb in our home). We have a loo/wash basin and shower. Currently there is cold running water but as yet, no hot water or electricity supply on the site. If you enjoy being in the countryside yet within easy reach of the historic city of Salisbury, and its many amenities, attractions, shops and restaurants together with a friendly welcome then come and join us. There are regular race meetings during the Summer and the golf course is open to non-members. Guests can choose where to pitch their tent or park their caravan. Pitches are not specifically laid out. We feel this is more in keeping with our rural location. There are walks and cycle trails directly from the farm. Running water and chemical waste disposal are conveniently located. Please be aware that these are the only facilities we currently offer. We hope to add more in the future. Guests can choose where to pitch their tent or park their caravan. In the village a mile away, there is a pub with a large garden serving lunch and supper and an extremely well stocked village shop. There are a number of other lovely village pubs nearby and plenty of places to eat to suit all tastes in Salisbury. On the edge of our farm are both Salisbury Racecourse and South Wilts Golf Club. Racing takes place regularly during the Summer months, often with entertainment after racing and the golf club is open to non-members. Just a short walk away is the Coombe Bissett Nature Reserve, a stunning place for a walk. Many many other lovely walks and cycle rides from the farm. Stonehenge is just a short drive away or you can take the tour bus which will also take in Old Sarum on the way. The world heritage Jurassic Coast is within easy access as are The New Forest, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, the historic city of Bath and so much more. We are not on a bus route. Taxis cost approximately £12 into Salisbury. The price is for up to 2 persons in one tent/caravan. For additional persons in same tent/caravan, select number of extra guests. For each additional tent/caravan select 2 extra guests - this allows up to 2 persons in the second tent/caravan. For additional persons in that second tent/caravan add 1 extra guest to the booking and so on. Any queries, please message me before booking as it is easier to sort out before the booking is actually done. Guests are politely asked to take all rubbish home with them. Out of season the campsite is grazed by livestock so please take great care not to leave any litter in the field. This is a new venture for us and what we currently offer could be termed semi-wild camping. In time we will be looking to add more facilities and to offer both the option of camping/caravanning with facilities and wild camping without facilities elsewhere on the farm.
