Quiet 1 bed with kitchen, Linlithgow, full refund

This good sized 1 bedroom holiday let is located in the historic town of Linlithgow in West Lothian, Scotland. It is set back from the road, so is very quiet. The holiday let consists of a conservatory entrance way, living room with kitchen and separate good sized bedroom. There's off road parking for one (or two cars if discussed in advance). Guests have an outside table and chairs and barbeque. The price includes electricity, heating and Wi-Fi, as well as bedding and towels. The living room has a stereo, a TV with freeview and DVD player. There are also a selection of reading books, local information, DVDs and games. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment, a washing machine and oven, combination microwave and 4 ring hob. The conservatory has an extendable dining table that can be used in situ or moved into the living room. The separate bedroom has a double bed, plenty of space and storage in the large built in wardrobe and an ensuite shower room/WC. Guests are welcome to park on the designated spot on the drive at the front of the main house. The apartment is a separate unit above their garage, accessed through steps in the owner’s garden (see photos). We have an EV chargepoint that guests are welcome to use (for cost of electricity), or there's a rapid charger 500m away which is free under CPS. We are happy to accommodate infants, and can provide a travel cot, high chair and toys on request. There's also a slide and climbing frame tucked away at the end of the garden that you're welcome to share with the owners' children (NOTE THAT THE CLIMBING FRAME IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING COVID-19). We're available in the main house should you have any questions over your stay. The accommodation is ideally placed - part of a small row of cottages in the countryside on the outskirts of the town, but just a 15 minute walk to the town centre and train station. By train Edinburgh is just 20 mins away and Glasgow 35 mins, making the rental an ideal base for exploring Scotland. Linlithgow is a small historical town with many local restaurants and pubs. Linlithgow Palace is majestically situated in the centre of the town, beside 15th-century St Michael's Kirk, and overlooking the peel (park) and loch. The loch has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest thanks to its wildfowl population. There's plenty of easy walking nearby such as a stroll (or bike ride) along the Edinburgh & Glasgow Union Canal (just 5 minutes from the holiday rental), or a walk at Beecraigs Country Park. For golf enthusiasts there are many local courses. St Andrews and Gleneagles would also make a good day out. The train station is 15 minutes walk away. It takes 20 mins to get to Edinburgh by train and costs around £8 off-peak or £10 peak return. We will offer a full refund (although Airbnb booking fees may apply) - If you develop symptoms during your stay or within 14 days of returning home then please let us know immediately - You’re free to use the table and chairs and grass immediately outside the apartment, but please don’t use the rest of the garden as it is used by the owner’s family. - At the end of your stay please open the velux windows (and the other windows if it raining) to air the apartment - At the end of your stay please put the duvet cover, pillow cases and sheets into the washing machine - At this time please do not invite additional visitors onto the property _____________________________
