COVID update: Our house adheres to all hygiene rules regarding COVID. It is thoroughly disinfected after each departure and the sheets and towels are washed dry and ironed at high temperatures. Fully equipped Reliable high speed internet and flat 49 inch TV with Netflix Work from home: Recommended for home office use due to the hybrid high speed internet access Details: The spacious house of a 200 sq. meters interior plus over 200 sq. meters in Verandas is beautifully renovated, furnished and equipped to welcome family and friends. Located just a 3 min walk from the amazing beach of Agioi Saranta at the east coast of Pelion, near Chorefto. It benefits being so close to the beach but not being at the beach which can get busy during peak days and hours. The accommodation benefit from a spacious parking place. The accommodation main areas are air-conditioned as it may get warm during the day but it gets cool during the night with open windows – all windows have mosquito nets. Free high speed wifi is available in all areas which makes it ideal for home office. A washing machine is available for your use. All areas of the plot are available for the guests. Enjoy them! Welcome and introduction to the house Being available to assist in person upon request The house is a 3 mins walk from one of the best beaches in Pelion the Ag. Saranta beach which is sandy with small rocks. The beachfront is 500 meters and the beach never gets crowded as it is quite wide and the parking space is limited. At the beach you have sunbeds, restaurants, and beach bars where you can sit or take away. Chorefto and Parisena beaches are a 30-40 min walk or 10 min by car. groceries Fresh Fruits and vegetables are sold at our parknig area every second day. Also there is a fisherman who comes with his car at our parking and you can buy fresh fish The closest supermarket is in Chorefto where you can find bread too Also in Makryrachi village where you can find supermarket, bakery and there is a butcher as well! Zagora is the largest nearby village which has the largest supermarket and other shops. villages: (nearby villages accessible by car) Tsagarada |Kissos |Mouressi |Zagora |Pouri |Chorefto| Damouchari Tsagarada is the biggest village with 3 different squares and neighborhoods it's nice to walk around them. Pouri is nice as well and you can combine it with zagora or with the taverna on the beach that I mentioned called πλημαρι! Tavernas/restaurants: - kalivi in tsagarada - 5f (5φ) in kissos - mouressi on the square - for fish sevach (Σεβάχ) in chorefto - plimari ( πλημαρι) on the beach Analipsi , Pouri's beach, after zagora - on our beach there are 3 tavernas I prefer the first one and sarante for it’s location. - anapodo platani in tsagarada at agias kuriakis square, very nice location, a bit more expensive but nice. Bars: - monk in our beach - skala in tsagarada ( nice music and environment) you can go around 8 or later of course, very nice garden - Café in Kissos square We are always available and at your disposal for any recommendations, assistance, and tips to help make your stay even more perfect! Hiking Pelion boasts a large number of hiking paths in the forests and around the beaches. A hiking map can be made available for the guests and you can follow more in internet. Kayaking Sea kayaking is possible and it’s actually magical but you have to do only on the calm days without any waves as it can be dangerous otherwise Fishing Rod fishing is allowed at areas away from swimmers Diving and Surfing also possible safety & security The neighborhood is quite safe and we never had any cases. Of course, during summer period there are many visitors, so you have to take extra precautions. cleanliness & disinfecting The house is clorine-free. Mild and environmentally friendly chemical disinfectants are used in all areas Surfaces and textiles are cleaned with steam. Linens and towels are washed in high temperature to ensure cleanliness and a high level of sterilization. environment friendliness Solar hot water Electric power 100% from renewable sources LED lamps used in all areas Tap water is drinkable, no need for water in PET bottles. Recycling bins available Extra Linens and towels available upon request Buying products from local producers to ensure money stays in the local economy and there is no long distance transportation involved. Linens are 100% cotton made No chorine used in the building The plants are not fed or sprayed with chemicals We are not using chemicals to kill flies, mosquitos or other bugs. These are very harmful for the environment and for humans. Mosquitos are best treated with mosquito repellents which are provided for internal and external use.
