We endeavour to make your stay as comfortable as possible in our bright, cosy maisonette. On your arrival you will receive a welcome basket, which includes fresh bread, butter, jam, biscuits, milk, tea and coffee. Our family run hair salon is situated below, if you need any advice or recommendations for places to eat or visit in and around Windsor, ask for Antonio (Co-Host) who will be happy to help. We are a brother and sister team and look forward to welcoming you to our home in Windsor. Please see photos to give you a visual on what to expect and what the flat layout is like. We can provide a spare bed for a 4th guest if needed. We are available to offer help throughout your stay, you are welcome to pop into the shop (Marino's) during working hours, to speak to Antonio (Co-host) or message Romina and together we will do what we can to help. We are situated in the heart of Windsor. There is lots to offer on your doorstep, all in walking distance to many of the main sights and attractions, including Windsor Castle, Theatre Royal, the Long Walk, Bachelor's Acre - includes a children's play area, Alexandra Park - includes a mini golf & small amusement park, the River Thames, Eton and Eton College. There is a nearby corner shop that sells a variety of essential items - which is very convenient and there are lots of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants on St.Leonard's Road, Peascod Street and the main High Street. Other nearby places - reached by car or public transport, includes Windsor Marina, Windsor Race Course, Legoland, Saville Gardens, Windsor Great Park, Ascot, Dorney and London Paddington (via Slough - from Windsor & Eton Central Station) or London Waterloo (via Datchet & Eton Riverside Station). Both train stations in Windsor are in easy walking distance. There is lots to explore and experience in and around Windsor. Car/Parking: Multi-storey car park, short walking distance from the property. Meter parking on St.Leonard's Road - 2 hours parking available, free in the evening 8pm-8am. Residential roads in the local area - you can park from 8pm - 8am. Closest motorway: M4 Train stations: Windsor & Eton Central - takes you to London Paddington (via Slough) Windsor & Eton Riverside - takes you to London Waterlo (Website hidden by Airbnb) London Heathrow airport - 12 miles from Windsor, easily accessible by car/taxi or public transport. Legoland: 10 minute drive from flat. Public transport: Taxi or Shuttlebus from both Windsor train stations and Windsor Castle - a local bus company operates this service.
