Because of its unusual and unique design the accommodation is over three levels, with varying room sizes, the living area, dining room, balcony and kitchen on the top floor, emphasising the fantastic views. The small windows were typical of the mills of that era. Before electricity, the stocking makers would sit at their frames at each window making the most of the available daylight.
