Guests' room
Originally a noblemen country residence dating back to the 17th century, Villa de Pertis has been restored to provide plain but comfortable and very reasonable priced accomodation in the form of three bedrooms and one suite. Its owner, Nicola de Pertis, is a charming host and a very knowledgeable about the area. This is place in which to wind down: there little to do other than to walk or bicycle in Matese mountains, or to wonder around the medieval village of Dragoni with its fine churches, and nearby villages of Baia e Latina and Alvignano. On your return you might be diverted by game of billiard. Dinner featuring regional dishes in a firelight room, was “special” according to one reader’s report; another wrote that “an excellent dinner was arranged, at short notice, almost exactly in line with our requests”. The same correspondent reported that her room was clean, cool and large, with a comfortable bed, a good bathroom and wonderful view onto a small square in the center of Dragoni where it seems time has stood still. Of course there is the self catering option, guests can arrange meals by themselves. There is a charming terrace overlooking the Matese hills where you can have breakfast, with home-made jams, in the morning. Nearby: Matese lake 30 km, Napoli 55 km, Caserta 28 km. Train station at 400 meters, airport at 55 km. Pets accepted. Satellite television, wi-fi internet connection, central heating plus three fireplaces, private bathroom for each room plus common toilets, 300 square meters garden, 600 square meters courtyard, 600 square meters panoramic terrace, spacious living rooms, closed car parking (Website hidden by Airbnb)
