Waiomu Escape

This peace of paradise is pure escape! Our bach is spacious and fully self-contained with everything you need for a peaceful stay whatever the season. In summer you can lounge on the lawn before strolling down to the swimming hole for a cooling swim. In winter you can curl up on comfy sofas in front of the log fire in the lounge. Wander to the beach for a swim, go fishing or grab a coffee at the cafe. We’re sure Waiomu will weave its magic and you’ll return to your lives much refreshed. We charge $125 per night for 2 guests; the nightly rate for 3-7 guests is $150. There is a flat rate $50 cleaning fee. Please bring your own linen - top and bottom sheets, pillow slips and towels. Linen and towels are available at a rate of $25 per person per stay. Xmas/New Year minimum stay 10 nights. High season rate 20 December-31 January $300 per night. 3 night minimum stay over Easter and public holidays. Special low season deal: stay for 3 and get a 4th night free [excludes public holidays]. Please enquire if you have a pet There's a fantastic cafe at the beach plus a children's playground; also a wonderful walk up the valley to the Waiomu Kauri Grove. A short drive away is the heritage towns of Thames and Coromandel township. Plan your day trips to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach.
