Liberty, the Coolest Accessible Treehouse in UK
That's right. You read it correctly. An 'accessible treehouse'. Now, when you think of treehouses, many don't see them as structures that cater for any and all. That is all about to change... say hello to Liberty. A brand new treehouse, part of the new Treedwellers collection found in Finstock, Oxfordshire, and one that has been built with accessibility in mind, and for the mobility of all. Whilst technically not the first structure in the UK to call itself an 'accessible treehouse', Liberty is surely the coolest? One of only a handful that can claim to be accessible by those with disabilities or who are less mobile. With the same effort for modern, clean, and minimalist spaces as all other treehouses on the site, Treedwellers offers a stylish and bohemian chic that makes up the space-age structure's interior. On the outside, Liberty is a brand new, eco-friendly treehouse built with environmentally-friendly materials, and decorated with specially-curated art pieces, and superior quality finishing touches which all combine to create a decadent holiday experience in a serene part of rural England. Liberty, like the other treehouses on site, is a super-quirky, and ultra-modern treehouse, built for couples or small families and set back in a private position on a custom-built retreat in the Oxfordshire countryside. The outer shell is circular, and 'donut-shaped', which offers an extremely interesting twist on the traditional ideals of a treehouse. Almost a complete deconstruction, Liberty is a treehouse for the 21st Century. The main structure is accessed by all from the rear of the unit, on an accessible walkway, which sits at ground level. The main living area of the treehouse is perched at the same level to allow it to be accessed by all, and the supporting frame of the treehouse is built down into a natural fosse that brings the essence of the treehouse to life. Also at ground level, next to the treehouse, you will find an accessible parking space on a solid and suitable concourse. Due to the nature of accessibility, Liberty has been crafted to allow a car to remain beside the treehouse for ease, so at this treehouse only, your vehicle does not need to be returned to the main parking place. With an eco-construction and custom circular-shaped exterior; a mixture of rusty, COR-TEN steel-coloured aluminum gives Liberty its distinctive, look. Treedwellers is a place for diversity and a celebration of ‘forward to nature’ spaces that ensnare the senses but also seamlessly blend into the tranquil surroundings of the Oxfordshire backdrop without impacting on the wildlife or habitats. The wider area is developed with its natural surroundings in mind, building sustainable accommodation in a beautiful part of the world, whilst returning the former industrial land to nature.
