Clean, tidy cottage with spectacular sunrise views

This sweet cottage is located within a short distance to many beautiful sights and activities in the Hudson Valley. You will get your first glimpse each morning as the sun rises overlooking the Hudson River, the views from the home are stunning. Apple orchards, wineries, terrific food and entertainment are located within five to ten minutes of the cottage. Explore further, and your choices are endless! The cottage offers a charming front porch, a living room that is open to a dining area, a galley kitchen, and one large bedroom with a queen bed. It features a coffee bar that is supplied with coffee from our own local roasting company. It also has a fabulous rear enclosed porch that offers views of the Hudson River. The cottage is ideally located on a tree lined street, close to apple orchards and wineries, and minutes to the Newburgh Beacon bridge and train, the Newburgh waterfront and historic district. Built in 1930, the property was once a refuge for families looking to escape the summer heat of New York City. Private parking is available using a shared driveway. Rob and Stephanie live and work in the area and are typically available for questions and guidance via email or telephone. Marlboro is located in the heart of the Hudson Valley with access to all there is to see and do! Each season offers different activities that involve nature - whether it be world class views in the nearby Shawangunk Mountains and Minnewaska State Preserve; recreation including hiking, skiing, or cycling; or history at West Point, Huguenot Street, FDR's Home, or Washington Headquarters. Marlboro is within close proximity to it all. The internet is a great way to research our area, but we have also put together a guide to our favorite places nearby. You can use our cottage in Marlboro to branch out and see all that the area has to offer, or stick to a 20 mile radius and fill your time with fun activities. For those visiting nearby colleges, Marlboro is central to West Point, SUNY New Paltz, Mount St. Mary, Marist, Vassar and Bard Colleges. Marlboro is a small town, located approximately 20 minutes' drive from the Beacon and Poughkeepsie train stations and Stewart International Airport. While the cottage is minutes from many attractions, it is best to have a car to get around.
