"Fleur de Sel" - House on a white sandy beach

It is a semi detached one storey house, right on the beach with one of the most beautiful lagoon of the island in front of you. Only 15 minutes from the airport. Ideal house for holidays with family or friends. Each bedroom has its ensuite bathroom. 1 bedroom downstairs and 3 upstairs. Can fit 6 adults and 2 children max. Maid included 6/7 (exc public holidays). The house is a semi detached one storey house of 200 meter square. There is a small backyard garden where you can park your car as well as a big open terrace. At ground floor, there is a large open space living / dining opening on the beach. The kitchen has an opening on the dining room and there is also a bedroom with its ensuite bathroom. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom as well as a small laundry. All bedrooms have ceiling fans as well as air conditioning. The house is fully equipped and has optic fibre / channel TV The whole house is yours - It's completely private. It is in a small family compound - We all use the same gate from the street to get in but once inside, each house has its own entrance / privacy. As we spend our week ends and holidays next door, we are very happy to share our good plans if you wish. Pointe d'Esny is very well known for its amazing lagoon : snorkeling, swimming, kite surfing, sailing - The typical mauritian sailing boat or a speed boat can pick you up in front of the house for a day to the surrounding islands, snorkling or to the famous l'ile aux Cerfs. Just on the right on the beach, there is a very nice "aquarium" where even small children can enjoy snorkling. 3 kms away is the typical village of Mahébourg with its naval museum, catch of the day fish market, open market on Mondays and plenty of small shops. Mahébourg is the 1st French village of Mauritius with its square streets and waterfront. The closest shopping centre (1 supermarket, butcher, pharmacy, teller machine, cloth shop etc) is 2 kms from home. You can walk there or take a bus / taxi which stops on the street in front of the gate. The bus stop is just behind the house. In Pointe d'Esny, we "share" taxis : it's the same price as a bus fare! If you don't want to move, the fisherman can deliver the catch of the day and the fruit and vegetable seller can stop by on his motorcycle everyday. When you do your grocery shopping in the nearby supermarket, once you've bought for more than Rs 3500 (+/- US$ 120), they bring you back home with your shopping. There are also plenty of taxis / vans who take you out for day sight seeing at very affordable prices.. I can also help you rent a car if you want to be independent. A maid comes everyday (except sundays and public holidays) for 3 hours. She can prepare local meals for an extra Rs 300 / meal (+/- Euro 7 )
