Escape to the country at Crown House

A beautiful 16th century cottage in a very quiet location in picturesque village; only 1 & 1/2 miles off the A12 and just 15 minutes to the sea. Crown House is full of character, exposed beams and an open fire; kingsize beds; down duvets and pillows, Egyptian cotton sheets; sympathetically designed, modern bathrooms. Lovely walks surrounding. Crown House has been a boutique style, luxury Bed & Breakfast (see my other listings as Rural Idyll - The Turret, The Rose Room & The Garden Room - ground floor bedroom with large walk in shower) but as a response to the Coronavirus situation I am giving over the B&B side of the business as a self contained self-catering holiday cottage. There are 4 double bedrooms, 3 with Kingsize beds and ensuite, modern but sympathetically designed bathrooms. The 4th bedroom can be made up as a twin or double. There is a fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room with 4 ovened electric Aga (switched off in the summer), a dining table that seats a minimum of 8 and a large sitting room with an open fire, Smart TV and DVD player, 2 sofas and a table. The garden is roughly a 3rd of an Acre and has a driveway with parking for 2 extra cars. There is a terraced area in the garden with fire bowl. There is also an external utility room with washing machine but no tumble dryer. There is a washing line in the garden or a sheila's maid pulley in the kitchen/breakfast room. The house, originally 3 labourers cottages is divided in two. I also live on the property with my dogs and cat but completely separately with separate entrance, so I can be on hand if any issues arise but you can see as little or as much as you like of me and the dogs. I live in the end cottage so any problems or issues, anything you need or can't find please do not hesitate to message me. Otherwise enjoy your stay! Great Glemham is just 3 mins off the A12 so it only takes 15 minutes to get into Aldeburgh, 20 mins to Orford and 30 mins to Southwold. The Crown Inn (just round the corner) is an excellent pub There is a smart TV and DVD player.
