Matera, the European capital of culture 2018 and 2019, can also be reached in a couple of hours (190 km). DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL: Very refined villa, recently renovated and livable at any time of the year. It is located in Marina di Marittima, in the heart of the protected natural park on the coast from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca; it overlooks the suggestive Acquaviva bay (whose crystal clear waters are a few meters away) and its terraces overlook the entire bay of Castro Marina. Equipped with a double entrance, it is enriched by a well-kept Mediterranean garden, rare in the coastal area, with English lawn and old trees, furnished with comfortable beds where you can sunbathe in absolute freedom. A hot / cold shower, surrounded by greenery, allows you to cool off enjoying moments of complete relaxation. The garden overlooks a large patio equipped with a table for 10/12 seats, 2 comfortable armchairs and a second table for 4 seats. The lighting is obtained from old nautical instruments in bronze and brass. A second large patio, overlooking the entire bay of Castro, is equipped with an 8-seater lava stone table, a conversation area with 2 large sofas +2 wicker armchairs and a 4-seater lava stone coffee table. The living area inside the house consists of an open space of about 70 square meters, finely furnished, in which there are: a fully functional fireplace, two sofas, a maxi screen and a rich library. The kitchen is equipped in every detail, the appliances are new and all the dishes, cutlery, glasses, cups and cups are complete for 12/18 people. In the living area there is also a courtesy bathroom with a large masonry shower and a comfortable laundry room. Upstairs are the three bedrooms that open onto a sea-view balcony that runs all around the house, equipped with tables and chairs. All bathrooms have a shower and one of them there is a large shower with hydromassage. The entire house boasts quality materials and finishes and is livable all year round. The equipment provided allows you to navigate safely, without limits from the coast, discovering the wonderful Salento coasts, or landing on the Greek coasts in absolute comfort. It is in fact possible to reach, in less than two hours, the nearby archipelago of the Ionian islands, which includes Fanó (Othoni) where there is one of the most beautiful inlets of the Mediterranean sea, the wonderful Calypso, reachable only by sea. The 6m dinghy allows you to make excursions along the coast. The costs, IF the two boats will be AVAILABLE during the guests' stay and if the weather and sea conditions allow it, will be agreed. The rates in use in the ports of the area will be adopted, but a discount will be made for guests of the house. LOCATION OF THE VILLA Excellent location, in the center of the most beautiful 50 km of the Salento coast, in the heart of the natural park that goes from Otranto to Santa Maria di Leuca:     - 5 minutes walk from the crystal clear waters of the wild Acquaviva cove below;        - a few minutes on foot to reach the bathing establishments of Marina di Marittima and Andrano Marina; ⁃2 km from the port of Castro Marina where it is possible to rent boats for excursions along the coast or rent sunbeds and umbrellas in the establishments overlooking the bay; ⁃4 km from the famous "La Zinzulusa" cave; -7 km from the enchanting inlet of Porto Miggiano and the spa center of Santa Cesarea; ⁃6 km from the suggestive natural port of Tricase, where the rafts are moored and on whose pier you can taste typical dishes in a characteristic restaurant with tables among the boats; ⁃25km from Otranto and its splendid beaches and the famous historical center; ⁃25 km from Santa Maria di Leuca, caput mundi; ⁃50 km from Gallipoli; ⁃ 50 km from Lecce; ⁃50 km from Acaia Golf Club (18 holes); ⁃100 km Brindisi airport, where it will be possible to rent a car; ⁃219 km Bari airport -120 km from Ostuni -150 km from Alberobello -150 km from Polignano a mare -190 km from Matera Availability is limited to an adult clientele and pets are not allowed. Weekly prices include: 1) the mandatory daily cleaning of the house for two hours to be carried out with the house's trusted staff with whom to agree on the times; 2) bed linen; 3) bathroom linen which will be changed every three days; 4) shower products. Beach towels are not provided. An additional cleaning service is available at € 9.00 per hour on request. A final cleaning charge of € 120 for guests after a minimum stay of 6 nights and a final cleaning of € 60 for stays of less than 6 nights is mandatory.
