Spacious Seaside Apartment sleeping 5
We have recently taken over this successful holiday let, which is a beautifully renovated first/second floor maisonette within a Victorian house, just a stone's throw of Hornsea Seafront. With three bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and spacious living room, this is the perfect spot for a quiet get away in East Yorkshire. As well as the sandy beach at Hornsea, Beverley, Hull and York are easily accessible, and there is a wealth of East Coast attractions all within a reasonable drive. The accommodation at Cliff Road includes a spacious living room with dining area, two double bedrooms (with king size beds) plus a smaller bedroom with a large single bed, kitchen and bathroom arranged over two floors. There is also an entrance hallway for storing shoes and coats etc. We live nearby and can be available as necessary by phone, message or email. Check in is via a key locker. The seafont is a short walk away, where you can stroll along the wide promenade or sandy beach. On the seafront is Hornsea Leisure Centre with swimming pool, gym, squash court and cafe. Nearby there is also launching facilities for board and jet skis. Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire's largest freshwater lake, is on the outskirts of the town where you can hire rowing or sailing boats, or enjoy a coffee at the waterside Cafe. The town itself has a bustling town centre, with a number of small independent shops, restaurants and cafes. A larger selection of shops is found at Hornsea Freeport as well a large soft play centre and bug museum. A convenience shop is situated two doors down from the property, and a larger Tescos is a short drive away. Hornsea has all you need for a peaceful seaside break, however the busier resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough are close by. The market town of Beverley, with the rolling green Westwood Pasture and a wide range of essential as well a high end shops is near by, as is the 2017 City of Culture Hull. Here you can take in the variety of Museums, the vibrant Fruit Market, and The Deep aquarium. The rolling Yorkshire Wolds and the big sky vistas of Holderness make for a scenic drive around the East Yorkshire countryside, with a wealth of eateries to stop for refreshment on the way round. Up to two dogs are permitted, subject a £30 housekeeping charge which is payable prior to arrival. Please notify of intention to bring a dog upon booking. Thank you.
