Quirky Cottage in Dorset Countryside.

The cottage that we believe was built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Set in the beautiful Dorset countryside. Plenty of local walks, to check out our stunning countryside. We are a 10 minute walk to the North Dorset Trailway. Unfortunately there is no pub in the village, we are a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute walk to the nearest pub The White Horse in Stourpaine (highly recommend). Conveniently situated for Blandford Camp and the Royal signals museum, the Great Dorset Steam Fair and just a stones throw away from Bryanston School. The room is on the ground floor, the cottage used to be the local village shop. Your room is where the shop front was situated. The room is very cosy with your own en-suite shower, toilet and basin. There is a little wardrobe. Window is rather low, we have provided a blackout blind and curtains. There is a fan fixed to the wall for the more muggy evenings. Just to make you aware the room is on the corner of our house and is near to the main road. It is not a really busy main road but there is a fair amount of traffic using the day. We have parking next to our double garage or in the lay-by which runs parallel to our back garden. Guest will have access to the side door (which is pictured). There is a key lock, we will give you the code nearer the time to your visit. this is situated on the same side as the lay-by. You all have access to our lovely back garden. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I work in a nursery so do not have access to my phone but I am always available in the evening. We are a tiny village, set in the beautiful rolling Dorset countryside. We are a friendly bunch, especially if you have a pooch or 2. There are some amazing walks right on our doorstep and the North Dorset Trailway within walking/cycling distance. If you have a National Trust membership there is so much to do in the area, we especially like Corfe Castle, Stourhead and Kingston Lacy. Having a car is a bonus, because we are about (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minute drive away from the seaside, we have Bournemouth and Poole and a little further field there is Weymouth. We do have buses which will take you into Blandford the nearest town, and you can pick up buses from there that will take you all over. You can also jump on your bike and cycle along the old train track on the North Dorset Trailway. The nearest pub is The WhiteHorse in Stourpaine. I recommend that you call in advance to book a table.
