This is a luxury bed and breakfast arrangement with six suites included in the booking. Free continental breakfast is included in the rate. The owners live in their private wing at the villa. Our Rooms Mountain View Suite Our largest suite offering a four poster king-sized bed, private outdoor area with 270 degrees view of Mount Richmond Mountain Ranges, Witherhills Farm and Mountain Bike Park, Cook Straits (ocean view) and the surrounding vineyards below. It has a luxury bathroom with walk-in shower, spa bath and His and Hers vanity. It also has an exercise equipment for your health and wellbeing. The owners normally stay in this room but if you book the entire villa, this room is included in your booking. Chagall Suite Named after the paintings by Marc Chagall, a Russian-French artist of Jewish Belarusian origin, adorning the room. Located inside the main building, this beautiful suite offers a king-sized bed, large built in wardrobe with mirror, spacious bathroom with shower over bath. It opens out to the verandah and to the sprawling lawn, it has direct access to the lap pool, steam room and outdoor spa/jacuzzi. It also has a view of the Witherhills Farm and Mountain Bike Park and the surrounding vineyards. Marlborough Suite This cozy suite inside the main house offers a queen-sized bed, large built-in wardrobe, spacious bathroom with walk in shower, His and Hers vanity. It opens out to the verandah where you can sit back and relax, enjoy the view of the expansive lawn, the ocean view and mountain ranges. It has direct access to the steam room, lap pool and spa/jacuzzi. Cloudy Bay Suite This suite is one of three poolside accommodations. It is a spacious suite offering spacious bathroom with walk in shower, queen-sized bed, a sofa bed and seating area, free standing wardrobe and table, His and Hers vanity. It opens out to the lap pool and views beyond. Ocean View Suite Separate from the main building, this is the other suite in the poolside accommodation. This lovely suite has a sliver the ocean view (Cook Straits), Wairau mountain ranges, the horse breeding station and Cloudy Bay Business Estate and Brancott Estate. It has a queen-sized bed, a sofa bed cum seating area, standing wardrobe and table, His and Hers vanity and walk in shower in a spacious bathroom with a view. Wither Hills Suite This suite is one of the suites in the poolside accommodation located separately from the main building. It has the view of the Witherhills. This lovely suite opens out to the lap pool offering a king-sized bed (with the bed able to be separated as two single beds), a sofa bed cum seating area, has a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, free-standing wardrobe for your convenience and His and Hers vanity. The Great Room A room like no other, the Great Room has a floor-to ceiling glass windows to maximise the picturesque views, adorned with luxurious furnitures including a custom-made 16-seater mahogany dining table. It is an expansive room that has an indoor outdoor flow. It is an open plan-living, dining, kitchen and lounge area. During the cold winter nights, you can relax in the seating besides the fireplace or watch a movie or listen to the music in the other lounge areas. The villa is adorned with original artworks found in galleries and museums around the world by artists like Marc Chagall, Pam Dixon, Dan May, Pietro Annigoni and more. Sculptures personally commissioned are also spread around the villa. 'My eyes feast in the many beautiful art pieces surrounding the villa", one of our quipped. Bespoke pieces and collectibles are available for you to enjoy, including one of the paintings by the owner himself. Master Chef Kitchen Our kitchen is well equipped a professional chef or an aspiring chef would love and enjoy whipping a restaurant-like meals. With an island and bar, a breakfast bar and a separate dining area with a view one of our guests described 'as if you are looking at a painting', this place definitely ticks the box. If you don't like to cook or go out for dinner, the in-house chef can cook for you and your party. You need to book in advance if you want to avail of this. In-house Bar/Karaoke Singing and music is your thing? We got you covered. The Great Room has a surround sound system with a karaoke machine. There is an in-house bar where you can buy wines, beers and cocktails. Small amount of liquor is allowed. If we allow you to use the villa for your party, we will consider charging corkage fee. Location Five minutes to Blenheim city centre, Mountainview Villa is the perfect location to experience Marlbourough's world famous wine country. Whether it's outdoor adventure, local culture or just relaxing in style, the villa is perfectly situated to suit your desires. Cooked breakfast (mushroom, bacon, sausage, free range eggs collected daily from our farm, organic tomatoes harvested from our veggie garden), bread, your choice of unlimited mochanino, cappuccino, latte, long black, short black and white coffee, assorted tea is $20 per person. Cancelation Policy As big groups normally book way in advance, it would be difficult for us to get booking replacement. As such, we have a strict cancelation policy. However, if cancelation is Covid related, we give full credit that is bookable six months from your check in date. We may consider longer time but subject to prior agreement with us. Guests have access to all amenities and rooms in the villa except the owners' private wing. Laundry is only allowed for guests staying for two days or more. Please let us know if you require laundry services for a small fee. The owners live in the villa in their own private wing. We live in the villa in our own private wing so we are happy to provide advise on great activities, local wineries and restaurants. But we can also leave you in peace, if you prefer. We can also help you book your activities eg wine tours while in Blenheim, free of charge. Our villa is located besides the Witherhills Farm and Mountain Bike Park and surrounded by vineyards. If you fancy biking and cycling, there is also a cycling trail alongside the train track and vineyards. Our property is located just five minutes to the city centre, 12-15 minutes to Blenheim airport, 25 minutes to Picton Ferry. it is also a great jump off point for the popular Queen Charlotte Track or the cruise around the Marlborough Sounds. It is best to have your own transport. However, we can arrange pick up at Picton ferry or Blenheim airport. Let us know when you book with us. From Friday, 3 December, we will require everyone who book with us to show your Vaccine Pass by scanning the pass or show us a copy. We may require an ID if you show us a hard copy of your Vaccine Pass. We have an on-site Chef so if you want a catered meal for your party, let us know when you book with us. If you have a special milestone to celebrate, we can cater for it at the villa.
