Renovated ancient forge, Coussac-Bonneval, France

My place is an ancient forge that has been tastefully renovated and the layout well thought out. This spacious 2 bedroom property with exposed beams and timber floors, large ensuite shower rooms and a modern fitted kitchen is full of character with stunning countryside views and walking distance to shops and amenities including a 1 minute walk to the stunning Chateau Bonneval. The place is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids), looking for a relaxed break in the Limousin. Stunning open plan and fully euipped kitchen, dining and living area with 40" Smart Samsung TV and freeview installed which gives you all English channels, some French channels, Netflix, Youtube and much more. Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. 2 spacious double bedrooms with super comfortable bedding, catering for winter and summer seasons. Plenty of wardrobe space and armchairs in each room. Each floor has a large bathroom with large walk-in-shower and good water pressure. On the 1st floor landing is a large desk and office space for home working. Superfast WiFi is installed with excellent coverage throughout. Beautiful lighting in the evenings and digital radiators in all rooms. During the summer months, open the French doors and listen to the fountain outside. Very quiet area and guests should keep noise to a minimum, especially at night time. The house features french windows and doors, all with working shutters to control light in the mornings as well as for security during your stay. A warning that the house features 2 spiral staircases which some guests may struggle when carrying luggage. Please look closely at the pictures to make sure it is suitable accomodation. All amenities are within walking distance. The house is ideally located in the heart of the town of Coussac-Bonneval: close to La Poste and the Château de Bonneval. There is a mini market nearby, but also a bar, a hotel with excellent restaurant, a pharmacy as well as a bakery and a very good butcher's shop. Plenty of parking next to / outside the house. Chateau Bonneval with tours in the summer months is stunning and hosts a great history. Saint Yrieux La Perche is 15 minute drive from the town and has many more amenities. Parking is available outside the house. Limited public transport, you will need a car. Limoges and Brives are the closest airports (approx 1 hour drive from either airport). There is a tourist office 30 seconds walk from the house - there are lots of places to see, with Bergerac a 90 minute drive away. As mentioned earlier, please check out the spiral staircase to make sure it is suitable for you and your guests.
