Valley Views - a beautiful stone cottage

Valley Views is a fully renovated stone cottage with three double bedrooms, an open plan living room and kitchen, and two bathrooms. The cottage location is ideal for exploring the surrounding beautiful villages and towns - St Antonin Noble Val , Cordes Sur Ciel and Najac for example, are just a short drive away. The house dates back around 200 years and was formerly the village festival centre. St Antonin Noble Val was the setting for the films Charlotte Grey and The hundred Steps. The cottage is very spacious with a living area of around 1350 square feet. There is a small garden in front of the house with a table and sunshade as well as a small barbecue. Across the road is a large woodland area and fields, all of which are teeming with wildlife and make for lovely walks tho can become overgrown at times. The lanes and tracks around the village and beyond are very safe and ideal for walking or cycling. The views around each corner are beautiful. We have recently upgraded the tv and now have satellite tv with English and international channels and also the French national tv system. In this area of France there is no Fibre optic so we do not offer WiFi as it would be very slow. If you require internet then it is best to buy a data package either at the airport or in St Antonin Noble Val. This option is not expensive starting from around 10 Euros. We can accept enquiries for 2 nights during low season. The kitchen has a very large fridge The house is open for the guests use The house is managed locally and we arrange for handing over and collecting the keys . There is always somebody nearby in case of any problems The cottage is located in the centre of St Michel de Vax , a very pretty, peaceful and friendly hamlet around 8km from St Antonin Noble Val. The small village has been preserved by the local French residents in a sustainable way to protect the nature with each growing their own organic food. The nearest airport is Toulouse where it is easy to hire a car and drive to the cottage (around 75 minutes away). Bicycles can be hired in St Antonin and for those who like the water, you are able to rent a Kayak for a trip down river! We recommend this trip. There is a railway station in nearby Lexos with 6 trains a day to Villefranche, Gaillac and Toulouse There is parking in front of the cottage
