The French Shed

The French Shed is situated in a private area at the back of our cottage, it overlooks the fields and woods and Guestling church can be seen. Guests can relax and enjoy the seating area that is outside the shed , its a lovely place to sit watching the sun set enjoying a drink or having a BBQ. The Shed has been designed with the garden in mind , kitted out with lots of unique and interesting rustic finds a lot of which have come from France. It's a beautiful and unique place to relax and unwind. The Living and sleeping space is in an open plan room where there is a double bed and two comfy leather arm chairs to relax in. The kitchen area has a fridge microwave oven and a two hob stove there is also a toaster and kettle. The shower room is just off of the kitchen area . Outside there is a seating area and a BBQ./ fire pit . The access to the shed is via the front and left hand side of the cottage garden. We are available in the cottage should you need anything. If we are out please contact us via txt . The town of Rye is a fifteen minute drive away Hastings old town is ten minutes in the car and Pett level beach is a five minute drive. If you have a car there are many places you can go and of course Hastings old town or Rye are easy to get to by car. Should you choose to come via public transport then you can get a bus from Pett village or outside Guestling school for a trip into Hastings or Rye both stops are within walking distance although Pett is closest. There is also a very good Taxi service from Hastings station. We supply towels for the shower but should you want beach towels we ask that you bring your own. Please be aware that sometimes the wi,fi has difficulty connecting should this happen we do apologise in advance . When you use the BBQ / fire pit please do not place it under the tree as this scorches the leaves and can damage the tree.
