Ideal couples base for exploring the Island

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room. I live directly across from the cottage so any problems that may occur can be dealt. The cottage is 2 miles from the main village of Blackwaterfoot where you will find an artisan baker, grocer shop, newspaper/gift shop and Kinloch Hotel for meals. The beach is the best on the Island and there is a Golf Tearoom open for evening meals. There are numerous walking routes nearby and buses stop outside the cottage if you decide to leave your car.
