Rawson Retreat

Located in a quiet court close to the general store, parks and swimming pool is our holiday home. Made of pine logs it has 2 split systems, gas heater, modern kitchen, barbeque, large living area, modern TV, DVD player, pantry, separate toilet, bath and shower, laundry, one double bedroom which accommodates a double bed as well as bunks, a second bedroom with a double bed, and a pantry. The couch folds out to a bed. Small outdoor area and a long verandah. Fireplace, windmill, wishing well. Log cabin decorated with rural and period furnishings. Quiet area with plenty of open space nearby (crater park, football oval, playground, reserves).Koalas, wombats, kangaroos, possums, and many varieties of parrots and birds can be found. Close to historic Walhalla and Mt. Baw Baw. Everywhere but the linen closet, tool shed and garden shed. We, or our cleaner, will visit the premises just before your arrival to ensure everything is neat and clean. The neighbourhood, especially our Court, is peaceful, friendly and quiet. We ask our guests to respect that; after all they live in Rawson for exactly that reason. There is no landline for this property. There is no mail delivery direct to properties in Rawson. There is no petrol at Rawson and only one General Store.
