Our restaurant and garden cafe besides serving Indian, Tibetan and European cuisines also dishes out a Healthy Traveller Menu which has interesting options like sprouted beans with beets, lentil and turnip soup, humas and vegetable wrap, rice and zucchini salad, seabuck thorn tea, barley coffee, mixed veggies and olive salad, zucchini omelette and spaghetti and nutrela. The host is available for any kind of assistance. Kaza is located high up in the mountains of Lahaul and Spiti valley in Himachal Pradesh. It offers some spectacular views of snow-clad mountains and reivers made up of crystal clear glacial water - One must visit the famous Sakya Tangyud monastery in Kaza - Around Kaza are villages like Tabo, Dhankar, Langza, Hikkim, Komic and Key which are a must visit while you are here. - One can also witness the festivals in Kaza to get a taste of the culture here. Festivals like Fagli and Gochi are celebrated. Hindus also celebrate their festivals like harvest festival, festival of light. There are various fairs like Ladarcha fair, Pauri fair, Tribal Fare. -Shopping in Kaza for local yak wool shawls and socks is popular among Travellers. - Kaza also has a couple of shops that sell products made out Sea-buckthorn that is found in the area and has great medicinal properties. There are two routes to Spiti valley, from Manali and from Shimla.The Manali route is open from mid-June till end of October whereas the Shimla route is open all year round. The distance between Manali and Kaza is around 220 kms. And takes approximately 9-10 hrs. to reach. The distance between Manali and Kaza is around 450 kms. And takes approximately 2 ½ days to reach Kaza. You can take local Himachal Pradesh transport buses to Kaza or hire cabs from either Manali or Shimla. -Breakfast is served from 8 am till 11am. -We do not serve meals in our rooms, only select snacks, tea and coffee. -We offer House-keeping service on request at no extra charge. -We do not allow loud music or noise in the guest rooms. -We have ample of parking for bikes & cars. -Breakfast is at a rate of 350 per person.
