All facilities in our home are available to be shared. Evening meals can be arranged , or pitch in and with some food and we will have dinner together. We also have a meet and greet service at the airport (costing depends on time and numbers. Large entertainment area, with BBQ and kitchen facility. Our house is in a very quiet part of the suburb and is secluded with virtually no traffic in the street. There is a path way that leads to a large playing field that hosts many sports such as golf, tennis, cricket, soccer, football, lawn bowls. Golf course 2KM away where you can see kangaroos grazing in the evening. Just 2 kilometres away is a large shopping centre at SOUTHLAKE, where you will find restaurants, kebab shop, Chinese restaurant, fruit and veg, butcher, Subway ect ect . There is a Hoyts cinema at another shopping mall where you can enjoy a good movie and a coffee...this is about 5km away from our place. Public transport is also simple and easy to use with a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the house and a city bound train is just 5 minutes ride on the bus and 17 minutes to City. Fremantle is a little closer. In our homestay you can move freely in all common areas. Use of the kitchen is included in the cost. Cook whatever you wish and maybe we share some food . There is a beautiful area at the rear for you to relax and be greated by our native birds. . LOAN CAR please ask....CAR IS FULLY INSURED... MEET AND GREET SERVICE AT AIRPORT COST IS $50...by arrangement Amy and I have a great raport with almost every guest or guests that stay with us. Sometimes you will be surprised what we get you into...much fun with Amy, lots of natural history and trips about town with Ian... On the weekend we can give you a 5 hour tour in our 4wd including a ferry trip across the swan river to the city.......up to 4 people $180 Our house is in a very quiet part of the suburb and is secluded with virtually no traffic. This is a Quote Mark one of our Guests QUOTE "Ian and Amy's home is really well located as it is just 12km south of the main city centre but it is within 300m of a bus stop which has approximately eight buses an hour to the local train station and that in turn has a train every ten minutes direct to the city centre. It is possible to get to the city in twenty five minutes for a cost of $4.20 The house is very spacious, clean and well appointed with a great shower and separate toilet, open plan kitchen, wash room and large dining area and lounge. All of these facilities are used by the house guests and family alike. There were 3 other guests in the house during my stay. All were lovely people and the positive interaction between then and Ian, Amy and Ian's son Josh was fantastic. All made me very welcome and included me in the evening meals that they jointly prepared. Josh kindly lent me one of his bicycles and accompanied me on a great bike ride to Fremantle. He was excellent company. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Ian and Amy's and would highly recommend a stay there." END QUOTE We have loan cars too..... In our garden at the rear we have a place where you can view some of our unique birdlife as they feed on fruits and nuts left on a feeding deck each evening.....We have 2 bicycles for use by guests.
