Families & chilled out groups are most welcome, bucks / hens/ & general benders are not. Entire house (Private use) When you book our home, you will enjoy the entire home to yourself. You will find that there will be empty/ spare shelves in the fridge, freezer, bar fridge, kitchen cupboards & built-in robes for your own use, but there will also be some of our own items as we use this home when it is not booked. Two parking spaces are available off-street (behind electric gate) plus there is plenty of on-street parking + a council parking lot diagonally opposite. If you own a car that must be garaged, I can make the garage available (with prior notice) If you have a small well-behaved dog, you may also (by request) bring your pooch (strictly outdoors only) If you choose to smoke, please only smoke outside (with the sliding doors/ windows closed) This is a beautiful space to entertain, perfect for friends & family to share, but strictly no parties. Each days' booking includes 3 hours use of the spa (at heated 38 degrees) If you have any special requirements for your stay please let me know at time of booking. • Directly opposite Warilla Beach. Stroll or cycle North beside the Lake Illawarra Foreshore, or South along the beachfront, to Little lake/ Barrack Point or Shellharbour Village • 200m to Reddall Reserve • 300m to Reddall lagoon (no waves, ideal for young children) • 400m to Playground/ Ninja park • 500m to Lake Illawarra Boat ramp • 700m walk (along the sand) to Windang Island • 1100m to Little lake/ Elliot's reserve (Barrack Point) • Walking distance to cafes, clubs & take-away • Short drive to restaurants/ shopping centre, + City Centre amenities (or good choice on Menulog!) • 18 mins to Wollongong CBD/ beaches/ night life (North) • 17 mins to Kiama (South) • 39 mins to Southern Highlands (West) • 1 hour and 5 mins to Huskisson and Jervis Bay (South) • Easy day-tripping around the South coast wine region • Stay home & enjoy this beautiful area, or head out in any direction you can’t go wrong! You can easily walk to the beach, the lake, or a handful of local take-aways/ cafes & clubs, however the best local eats are a short drive away. Shellharbour village (5mins) has a great selection of restaurants' Shellhabour City Centre is 5 mins away Or enjoy a scenic country drive to Gerringong, Berry, Jamberoo or Kangaroo Valley! Shellharbour Junction (Train station) is a 7 minute drive Or local Bus Stop is just down the road. Although a Summer-time beach holiday may seem the ideal, Winter is actually my favourite time to be in this home! There is nothing better than a hot spa in the middle Winter, in-fact the worse the weather, the nicer it is! We even love it in the rain... Turn on the heat + the fireplace in the late afternoon, or light the fire pit & enjoy drinks around the open flames. There's something to love in every Season. There are entertaining spaces & outdoor kitchens on both sides of the home, so you can chase, or hide, from the sun, or wind. The balcony captures the early morning sun & the alfresco has a North aspect + super comfortable outdoor lounges The property is also well protected from the Winter Westerly winds, + Summer Southerly winds.
