Tiny house Wikkelhuis (OPTIE) privé sauna & hottub

My son and I live in the eco-village of Almere Oosterwold in tiny paradise Klein Knorrestein with our pigs, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. In our garden there are 2 tiny houses: this 'Wikkelhuis' and next to it an Iglucraft. You can book the unlimited use of your own private sauna and hot tub (€75 per day) on site. Please come and cuddle with our piggies, goats, dogs and chicken! Tiny house 'Klein Knorrestein' is tough, robust and sweet and built completely ecologically. The house runs on solar panels with a battery, a high tech rainwater system that makes safe drinking and shower water, an ecological filter system (helophyte filter) for the shower and toilet water. But you don't notice anything, everything works automatically. We recently added a tiny sauna (very cute, suitable for two sitting persons) and a beautiful wood fired hottub, next to the house, which is for your private use! So roll up those sleeves, and get to work with the wood, fire & water! Heating up the wood fired hottub will take approximately 2.5-3.00 hours, depending on outside temperature. Please note that you will have to stay with the hottub during the time you are heating it. The second day, the tub is still (a bit) warm, due to the thermocover. It will heat up a lot faster then, compared to the first day. We make your bed with fresh hotellinnen, have two big and 2 small towels for you, a simpel but beautiful kitchen and unlimited coffee&tea. The Wikkelhouse is one room, with the lounge bed next to the stove, and a toilet and small shower closed with sliding doors. Cozier than cozy, all made of wood, and really TINY ;-) Nothing better than cooking on the stove in 1 pan while enjoying a drink, a Nespresso or one of the delicious loose teas. That relaxation: that will be fine here. Feel welcome! Enjoy a good sleep thanks to the ecological mattress and bedding from Yumeko. The shower is tight, but hey: less is more! Klein Knorrestein is great pleasure for people who are not looking for a five-star hotel room, but want to get started with a fire, relax, read, hug animals, swim in the canal and slow cooking, and enjoy nature and wellness. ECO Klein Knorrestein is ecologically built, has a dual power system: both on 12 volts with battery through the solar panels on the roof, and 220 through the connection to the other house in the yard, where my son and I and our two cats and dachshund live. That is a Sustainer Home, with 24 solar panels, with its own rainwater to drinking water system, reuse of water. So you also shower with filtered and drinkable rainwater as long as the tanks are full. And otherwise no problem: the high-tech system will switch to 'normal' drinking water. We are not connected to the sewerage system, but use a top of the bill helophyte filter. This is a reed filter where all the 'waste' water is purified to such an extent that the water can then be discharged into our own ditch without any problems. You can cook on: > fire (stove), > electric on super-fast induction hob. - Large fridge available, so enjoy yourself and get some tasty ingredients. Can I help you too! If my chickens are in good spirits and my rooster has not exhausted them, then it could just be that I deliver some fresh eggs. - Nespresso with milk frother and loose organic teas included. - No oven or microwave. - If you stay a little longer, you can use the washing machine and dryer (in the main house) for a small fee in consultation. We never make a fuss about special requests here anyway. Life is short enough. - Super fast WiFi. No TV, but an iPad holder, streaming Netflix or music (think of the neighbors) is no problem. - Harvest your own organic vegetables at the self-picking garden 'Moes', a 5-minute walk away during season. - Homemade fries at The Frietboerderij a 7 minutes ride away, with Joyce's favorite sauce: Samurai! - Enjoy the bread and pastries from the bio bakery in the neighborhood. Since they are still under construction, they are not always open. And they bake fantastic organic French sourdough bread on at least Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday - Go to the organic market on Saturday! - Enjoy the climbing forest nearby So, Bring your book, or your new love, or make up with your current love ;-). Or go solo, and finally read or write that one book! Put your best friend in the spotlight or come as a single parent with your kids. Make it a family outing. Come here to work from home for a while. Improve your slow cooking, ..... or just do nothing and listen to the crickets and the occasional grunt, the birds. You can park for free in my garden for ONE car. If you need more cars, please let me know and I will show you a free alternative 200 meters away. There's a busstop nearby ('Bushalte Nagtegaallaan'), but please check: the bus goes irregularly) Better take a cab or an Uber from trainstation Almere Centrum. It will take you to our place in 15 minutes. Klein Knorrestein has two tiny houses, a Wikkelhouse (2 guests, occasionally 4 guests, but aiming at 2) and an Iglucraft (2 guests) and stands in my garden of approximately 3000 m2. Both tiny houses have their own terrace. You will most certainly see us, or the other guests, in the garden. We aim for a cozy, peaceful spot for nature lovers. I also live on the site with my ten-year-old son, in a Sustainer Home. Feel free to indicate what you are looking for: do you want peace, then you just text me if you need something, I respect your privacy. Do you want to go on an adventure here, know more about ecological construction, let your children get dirty for a weekend while building huts? If you want a romantic weekend, I also have some nice extras. In short: Klein Knorrestein wants to be a nice place. 'Klein Knorrestein' is located on the edge of a very special residential area, Oosterwold, in a beautiful spot: next to the forest, you can walk through the Kathedralenbos to the canal, where you can swim in summer and winter (for diehards). Go to Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan, with the AAP Foundation, the climbing forest and much more. For example, you can go on a beaver safari with the forest ranger! Or get all your delicious ingredients for your slow cooking at the organic market at De Kemphaan on Saturday. The golf course is around the corner, on Friday and Saturday there is a fantastic traditional 'French fries' shop at our neighbors, Oosterwold is a wonderful adventure. You will be amazed, it is a mix of separate new construction, villas, earth houses, straw construction, container houses, but also a triangular house or a round sphere to live in: in Oosterwold, it is possible. 'Klein Knorrestein is within cycling distance of supermarkets. The ecological farm shop (actually an organic supermarket) is close by: ten minutes by bike! You can park your car with us for free and without any problems. There is public transport (bus stop Nachtegaalpad), but not so often on weekends. If my schedule allows, I can also occasionally taxi for you for a fee. This is not a hotel, not a bungalowpark, not a camping ;-) It is a real airbnb, with TWO tiny houses, so you will meet other guests. But we arranged the garden in such a way, that both tiny houses will have their own privacy, their own hottub/sauna (Wikkelhouse) or hottub/later on another sauna (Iglucraft). But you wil not be the only guest(s) here, probably. You come here for the feeling of a holiday house, and you will have one of the two tiny houses with a lot of privacy for yourself! I live on the property with my son, children sometimes run through the garden, work is done in the greenhouse , the pigs have a crazy five minutes now and then, the chickens love to sing under the guidance of our rooster, we also sometimes light a campfire in the garden. In short: people live here and enjoy life, but always with respect for your privacy and wishes. If it feels good to join in, then you can, don't you feel like it? Enjoy your own nice place. Everything is allowed! Our site is on the edge of the residential area, so you are not in the middle of the forest, but on the edge of the forest. Not really a punishment though. – At five minutes by bike you will find a beautiful ecological farm shop / supermarket called Odin Vliervelden! -The most durable LIDL supermarket worldwide is opening in our neighborhood this July, with a car just 5 mins. Other supermarkets and many restaurants are on average 15-20 minutes by car from Klein Knorrestein. In July a Lidl supermarket will open 5 minutes by car - We would like to ask you to use our delicious ecological soap, shower gel and shampoo because of our helophyte filter, or bring your own ecological stuff. Toothpaste of your choice no problem ;-) - Bring your boots, clogs or Crocs (yes, they are "allowed" here) and house socks or shamelessly: your slippers! Shoes that you can easily kick off after a lovely walk or strolling in the garden. And an old pair of pants, if you want to go out in the meadow.
