❤ Double Room South of Malta + WIFI
A tidy double bedroom in Qajjenza area south of Malta. 1 hr walk to St. Peter s pool which is a beautiful rocky inlet beach. House is situated a few minutes away from bus stops and close to small grocery shops where you will find all your basic needs :) accommodation is 30 mins walk from Marsaxlokk Sunday fish market and 30 mins bus from the airport. It is a cozy space with a new DIY front patio. I try to be as artistic and possible and do some of the stuff myself. I am also keen on plants and flowers. I sometimes greet guests in person, however most times, I prefer to send instructions to guests on how to do self check in in order to be more flexible. Accommodation is in a quiet area. You will need to catch 1 bus (30 mins) to Valletta and 2 buses (1 hr total) for St Julians (Paceville and clubs). Parking in my area is free of charge- in the evenings (especially after 9pm) it can get a bit busy, but if you do not find parking in my street, you will be able to find around the block. I work full time with long hours during the winter so I am not at home often. however, when I am at home, I will be more then happy to suggest and explain places that you can visit around the island :) The neighborhood is very safe- in fact sometimes when I am at home, I like leaving the front door open so there is more light and air living/kitchen :) The sea is just walking distance and 2 mins walk from my house there is a very nice restaurant called Ferretti (URL HIDDEN) a bit posh but still not that expensive. For a more laid back relax feel you can either go to the snack bars about 100 meters from Ferretti- they are much cheaper and the food is still really good :) For fresh fish I would recommend catching a 5 mins bus ride or else a 30 mins walk to Marsaxlokk -which is the fishermen's village. I usually suggest Carrubia restaurant as its a nice place with cheap prices and generous portions! If you are coming from the airport you need to catch bus 119 and stop at cachia stop. This bus leaves every hour on the hour (1pm 2 pm 3 pm and so on) so if you miss it you can catch a bus from the airport to Valletta and then you can catch either bus 85 and stop at cachia stop or else catch 80 or 82 and stop at nadur stage. I would suggest downloading tallinja app on your phone so you can have a better idea of real time info of buses (in my area they usually stick to their time!) Please note that you can buy a one week pass bus card for 21 eu as soon as you land at the airport. Also, taking a look at (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps whilst you still have internet connection and saving the images by screen shot can be of great help also- Call me if you have difficulties anyways:) if renting car please note that we drive on the right hand side (just like UK)
