The Cottage for 4 at Flo’s Cottages & Indoor Pool

Somerset, the home of cider, Glastonbury, cheddar and The Wurzels! Tucked away down a quiet country Lane, The Cottage is at the edge of a quintessential English village, East Coker. Heated indoor pool, log burner (wood included), local produce welcome goodies & far reaching rural views. Rural but not remote! Perfect for families or couples. Arrival days are Mondays and Fridays 7 night min. stay August. Available for midweek breaks (Monday - Friday), weekends, (Friday - Monday) or full weeks and longer. Please note week only bookings in August, Christmas and New Year commencing Fridays. Thank you in advance! Flo's Cottages is set on a small country estate set on the edge of the village of East Coker, only a couple of miles from Yeovil with beautiful rural views. Whilst Covid-19 remains a threat, guests in The Cottage will have exclusive access to the swimming pool between 4:00pm and 8:00pm. We have free parking behind secure, electric gates. We like to say hello on your arrival to make you welcome and help with anything you want to know about. Other than that we will respect your privacy and hope you have a wonderful time here. East Coker is a beautiful Somerset village TS Elliot even wrote a poem about it. Full of great walks and cycling, just potter about in the lanes and follow your nose back to the cottage…. The main form of transport in our rural area is the car! Taxis are readily available and there are buses into Yeovil. The nearest train station is Yeovil Junction (about a 5 minute drive) from where trains go to Exeter and London Waterloo with most station in between. Nearest airports are Exeter and Bristol, each about an hour away. Please note that Longlands Cottage is available for midweek stays (Monday - Friday), Weekend stays (Friday - Monday), full weeks or longer! The Cottage is all ground floor accommodation and there is a flight of steps down from the parking area to the cottage. Please email beforehand if you have mobility requirements as we have alternative parking.
